Arifureta: From Commonplace to World's Strongest (Light Novel) Vol. 3 Paperback – August 7, 2018

Another great book in the series. As usual it's like the directors cut of the anime. A lot of things were explained in greater detail, like the knights that guard Aiko. Also I'm noticing both in this book and the last Shea has a much larger role than in the anime. In that it seems like Hajime is doing it all on his own. It also helps to get to hear the characters perspective which you only get in the books. Great book, I can't wait to start on the next one.

One of my favorite series of books

I picked up vol 3 after reading the manga, and eventually I came to love the humor and journey the protagonist undertook. Highly recommend to any isekai/fantasy fan. For reference this is similar to Sheild Hero, but in my OP superior in some areas.

I've watched the anime and love that in the light novels they explains a lot more. This book was a good read.

I love how the book continues almost right from where book two left off. The small party is more like a family but the roles are still solidly in place and not blurred (no harem for you Shea). The entire Fuhren encounter is good and I hope to have an expansion on the cityscapes another time. Even the reunion in Ur was written greatly within character. So in all the book was a good read and I will get number 4.Areas I didn't like. First, not sure why the publishers made this one print only as most of the series is electronically available. Second, Tio. The authors character to write, but DAMN is that an over-the-top personality flaw. While that personality can be entertaining to some extent (think Darkness in Konosuba), to go to the extreme to be creeping out EVERYONE around her makes her hard to see much connection with or value in. Lastly, I REALLY wanted Hajime to put his classmates in their collective place. "I'm not going with you because one of you tried to kill me." The students all addressed it and collectively buried it for their own self-services purposes when they thought he was dead. I would have liked to have him tell them right to their faces, yeah I know one of you wanted to kill me and force them to re-evaluate that one of their own classmates has no issue sticking a knife in their backs. These are just my tastes though and do not detract from what the author is wanting to create. It's his world after all and I get to share his view of it.

Hooked after I read book 1 almost 2 years ago. One of my favorite series. Have reread it once already just causes it was so good. Don't use the garbage anime as a comparison. The LN series is waaaaaaay better.

Gets better with every book.Gotta finish the anime so the books come to life.The anime started it all for me so it needs to finish it.
