Well made tool
Used it to grind and polish a concrete counter top I made and it worked great. The motor has 5 or 6 hours on it now and still going strong. The unit comes with an extra set of motor brushes but haven't had to use them yet. The pads still have a lot of life left in them. Was able to get a very smooth shinny finish. Has a well designed wet sanding system. The water is delivered to the center of the pads and evenly dispersed outward from there. The splash guard works well keeping water from spraying out on the tool side of the pads. The front side is more open and can really spray water. The grinder has a very solid, well made feel to it.Variable speed works well and has a wide range of speeds.

Worked wekk, but didn't last long
After about six months intermittent use, it started making a high-pitched whining noise. After a couple more months it stopped working completely. Other similar units I've purchased from other manufacturers have lasted longer. Also, they included a spare set of motor brushes, but no instructions on how to replace them. When I tried disassembly it looked like the brushes were 'buried' deep in the unit and it would be difficult to replace them without more knowledge or instruction about the unit.

5-stars
This product works well. Did a stellar job and a lot easier to use than a normal angle grinder. However, it was unfortunate for me that it stopped working shortly after I started using it. I’m not sure if it was a product defect or some water entered the motor. Regardless I’m giving this review 5 stars because of the outstanding customer service. Seller was able to take back the unit and provide a full refund (even paid for shipping). I would have no reserves to buy this again if I had more uses for it. I ended up finishing my job with an angle grinder and a garden hose and let me tell you, this product is the way to go

Low quality polisher, falls apart quickly
My project was to refinish the granite surface in the bathroom. Purchased this kit because was led to believe that wet application is more effective than a dry polish. Overall the tool itself was low quality, more of a single job application. The on/off button on the polisher broke after four hours of use, since then had to use the GFCI box to put it on or off. The water delivery was problematic too. It was either a full flood or nothing. Initially stuck to flooding the surface but later just switched to a water bottle spray to finish the job. The Velcro on the provided backer started peeling off at the end of my job. Damo instructed me to use 3,000 rpm throughout the entire job, from the 50 pad to 3,000. If I knew then what I know now, I would have bought variable speed Makita instead and use the spray bottle. I would end up with the same result but also would have a tool that would serve me afterwards in many other jobs.

Works Well!
I have used the product twice and am very pleased with the results. A couple notes however, the electronic soft start 700 rpm speed is very nice for minimizing spatter. The product is sturdily constructed but as another user observed the gears make a lot of noise and ear plugs are recommended if you are going to use routinely. The pads Damo themselves removed all old scratches however the Damo 3000 grit pad was not sufficient to give a final high polished finished on my marble bathroom vanity. Nor for that matter was a Staeda 10,000 grit polishing pad sufficient to get the highly reflective finished result. I had to use a hogs hair pad with a marble polishing powder to get the "like new" finish I wanted. But Considering the Makita wet stone polisher without any pads is listed at $301 this Damo product is an excellent purchase.

Excellent for Fused Glass
Instructions are not much but if you are going to use a tool like this you got to be a little mechanically incline to figure it out. I have used it 3 times on fused glass about 8 hours and works like a charm so far. I had been polishing by hand with loose grit before. I got a 13" bowl that the back is so super smooth. It is messy it just can't really get a slow drip with the water its like yes water or no water.

Works great, but will zap you every once on in a while. There could be a better shroud to keep the flying water out of the tool

The polishing disks are good quality. When I had a question prior to ...
The build is solid. I purchased this to finish the tile edges on the granite tile I used to finish my BBQ island. This really made an intimating job an absolute breeze. The nut that holds on the water flow handle could use some modification because it can and does vibrate loose. The polishing disks are good quality. When I had a question prior to shipment DAMO was quick with a response and their customer service really sold me. The RPM adjustment works great and built in GCFI put me at ease when using electricity near so much water. Still I would wear rubber gloves, goggles and slicker when using this as I would with any brand.I put together an box opening video on YouTube so you can see what all comes in the box.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygMRMZum3wk
