Hypoallergenic Lipstick for Sensitive Skin By FACEWORKS (Alexa Matte)

After using the same brands for many years (Chanel, Clinique, Kevyn Aucoin), I suddenly became inexplicably allergic to my lipstick. For months, the only things my lips could tolerate was vaseline. After months of pale lips, I came across Faceworks. I have used several of their colors and they truly cause my lips ZERO irritation. My favorite lipstick is their Nude Latte, which is extra moisturizing and a neutral enough shade for me to wear for any occasion. Their customer service is also amazing. I had questions about their colors, contacted the company and corresponded directly with the owner. I've never purchased cosmetics from a small company before, and it is a great feeling! Also, I like their line of 5-free nail polishes, which are free of some common toxic additives.Recently I tried to go back to my old lipsticks because Faceworks does not have the exact shades that I used to wear, but alas, I am still allergic to them. The owner told me that they will be introducing some new shades soon, so I am very excited!

I was excited to find this product online as I used to purchase it from a hairdresser. The price is a lot more on Amazon, sadly. But I paid it because I love the product so much. The color is light and It is so very moisturizing. Love it!!

It appears that this is a good product, but I picked the wrong color; it looks hideous on me! If I purchased this product again, I would probably call and discuss colors with the manufacturer instead of trying to guess with online color swatches.

This lipstick is just like the picture. Beautiful color and stays on nicely.

I bought this product first time. The color is very subtle, barely making any difference on my lips. What I do not like is that it seems to be dry, lacking moisture necessary to make it glide on the lips.

I have used these lipsticks for a couple of months now. Every other colored lip balm (even though who claimed to be hypoallergenic) or lipstick makes my lips swell up, crack, and even break out in small lumps. I’ve had absolutely no problem with this product and it feels glorious to be able to wear lipstick again after so many years! If there were one thing for improvement I would wish it were longer lasting, but I wouldn’t sacrifice the hypoallergenic qualities for that. Thank you!

This lipstick in Loveable is a beautiful color!My only warning is that the color Loveable is a deeper red than it looks to be in the picture. Still a great color, especially for evenings! Has some shine to it, too, which gives it a glamorous look. :)UPDATE: Also ordered Flamingo. It's a bright fuschia pink with slight purple undertones, which makes it a good color for a warm or a cool palette. I absolutely LOVE IT.No allergic reaction whatsoever, even after wearing it for days. This is the only lipstick that works for me. If you have allergies or irritation with lip products, this is the lipstick for you. Worth every penny!

I don’t like the color, just had to guess the color by the name only. No color chart that I could see.
