Explosive!
Anna Zaire's books always capture by attention and this trilogy wasn't any different. If you remember Lucas Kent is one of Julian's guards and this is his story with a bombshell of a Russian agent Yulia Tzakova. She is a spy who is trying to take down Julian. Though she's forced work with with her agency, she has to provide them inside Intel and that obviously goes wrong because Lucas gets harmed along the way. Yulia did not have an easy life and therefore had to make some though choices. Initially she views Lucas as just her captor but as she begins to see his real side, she fears that he just might become her everything. Overall, I loved every minute of this trilogy. I am totally obsessed with this world that Anna has constructed. Every book is hot, steamy, full of action, tension, chemistry, and twists upon twists being revealed which kept me entertained throughout. The story was unpredictable and the ending was satisfying. I devoured the series because it was so hard to put down!

Twist Me: An Addendum
First of all, I'm a huge fan of the Twist Me trilogy; the books became a huge addiction for me and having finished that particular odyssey, I was eager to move on to the next chapter of the saga, hoping for a new adventure with Lucas and Yulia (wishing for brief cameos from Julian and Nora!)On the plus side, Capture Me is as well written as can be expected, looking at familiar events through Lucas' eyes sure is interesting, and it's good to learn more about the enigmatic Yulia. Plus, the book definitely has that "don't want to put it down" quality. But ultimately (and VERY surprisingly), Capture Me is quite disappointing when compared to the previous books because not much happens at all! As alluded to in this review headline, Capture Me is merely a bit of extra Twist Me material, going over the events and conversations of both Keep Me and Hold Me and, although Yulia's story at the beginning is intriguing, the tale's "big event" is merely her being tied to a chair in Lucas' room.Honestly, when it ended, I cried "That's IT?!"So in conclusion, I'm still happy to be a fan of the "Esguerraverse" and Capture Me is a steady opening back into this world but if you're a fan of the original trilogy, don't go expecting a brand new adventure that moves away from familiar characters. It's an addictive tale that's proficiently written but it's too safe, repetitive, and the story is ultimately underwhelming - a Twist Me afterthought. But hopefully, the next book will kick off the adventure properly . . .

Basic & pointless waste of time. Scenes copied and pasted as two POV's!
Making readers read and re-read the exact same scene they literally just read, is irritating, boring, tedious, and a complete waste of their time! Chapter long scenes are given in the heroine's thoughts, and then the author just slaps the hero's name on the next chapter but it's all the same scene again, just a copy and paste! Argh! A complete waste of time!Example- 'he walked in to my apartment, I offered him a coffee, he said no, I asked him this, I asked him that.... he did this.. he did that', then it's all given again in his thoughts- 'I walked in to her apartment, she offered me a coffee, I said no, she asked me this... she asked me that... I did this... I did that...'. Yawn-svile! Seriously tedious! Completely pointless writing and reading. The writing is also very basic, it switches between tenses, uses wrong words, has words with letters missing. Just two examples from memory- 'She suggestive', should have been 'she suggestively.. and 'Did he know anything', should have been 'Did he know something', etc. Punctuation was wrong, and so many other issues. The basic, upfront, in your face, I'm a bad guy but I'm not a bad guy hero! Nope! Awful! No substance. No depth. No complexity to him or the story. Just too ridiculous in its 'dark anti hero' simplicity as to be plain stupid! I just couldn't get with this beyomd basic offering of my favourite 'dark romance' genre. Tedious! Rdiculous! And tiresome. In short, lazy writing, just copying and pasting! A total waste of time! Basic with its in your face, the hero is a dark anti hero, but isn't a dark anti hero, shocking lack of substance. Avoid this so called author! Gave up after just two scenes, well, the same scene copied, pasted, and read twice! Just bad! Lazy, boring, amateur writing!

Titilation v Plot......Plot for me every time.
I should have considered the titles of the books and then I wouldn't have been taken aback by the explicit descriptions of sex. I don't like authors who use titilation to 'grab' their readers. I can' t comment on the plot as I lost interest after the first sexual encounter.

Not what I was expecting
If you haven't read the 'Twist Me' trilogy, stop and go read those first. The 'Capture Me' trilogy is a spin off of this story. Yes, you could probably read 'Capture Me' on its own, but I don't think you would be able to appreciate the full story without all the extra details from 'Twist Me'.This book is written really well and I enjoyed it but I was a little disappointed. I thought that this trilogy was written after 'Twist Me' and was a continuation of the story, but from Lucas and Yulia's POV. Thats not the case, this book is written along side the 'Twist Me' books so I'm reading the same story again but from a different POV. I still enjoyed the story, it just wasn't what I was expecting.I'm looking forward to the next book in the trilogy, I know that certain things will happen from reading 'Twist Me', I'm excited to see how Lucas deals with what's to come.

Amazing !!
After reading the previous reviews, I was really intrigued by this book and I wanted to see what it is all about... It hasn't disappointed me at all!! I was looking for a book like this and my dream came true!I love the story, I love the writing style because it is easy to follow the events and feelings of the characters and most of all, you get to understand their thoughts as if you would be in their mind! I read it in one day as every page makes you want to know more and more about how the story unfolds... I already purchased volume 2 and it should arrive within the next days...
