Llewellyn's Complete Book of Predictive Astrology: The Easy Way to Predict Your Future: 3

For all you Astrology addicts out there, this book can't be missing on your book shelf! I've been studying birth charts for two years now and I wanted to step up my game in becoming an astrologer. This book is a great next step for people in that situation! It covers the most common techniques for predictive astrology and is full of easy to understand information. It shows you example charts and is a really helpful tool in your study! It's not for those who just start out their astrology journey though, I'd recommend you to first get the needed basics on birth charts before you dive into this pearl of a book.

Good product!

I strongly advice you to study this book by a very good colleague who is the author of many interesting books.I have discovered that we have a very similar approach to the discipline. In fact, reading Llewellyn's Complete Book of Predictive Astrology by Kris Brandt Riske, you will find, as I have, that a great passion moves the mind of the Author in Astrology: the research of future events.This is the very passion that I put in many of my books and I have had a nice surprise to find out that the colleague Kris Brandt Riske has a Weltanschauung in the Art of Urania which is very similar to my personal approach: we use a lot Transits, Solar and Lunar Returns, we relocate both Solar and Lunar Returns for the location of the moment of the Return (for example, read the election of Jimmy Carter as President of the U.S.A. in 1976: the charts were drawn for Washington D.C. and not for Plains, Georgia), we both use Placidus System of Houses, we are convinced that an example is worth a thousand words and many other things.In some items we don't use the same way to reach predictions: for example, I have abandoned, after many years of practice, the use of Progressions (I previously used Primary Directions with space latitude), of the Solar Arcs, but I have never worked with Lunations and Eclipses.In my opinion we have more points of contact in our way of doing Astrology than points of contrast.Moreover, I would like to remember what an important Vedic astrologer wrote in a review of a book of mine: "We Vedic astrologers think that our Astrology is the only real one, but after reading this book, I thought that it is possible to search for one of the possible `Truths' also through the study of good books of Western Astrology."Kris Brandt Riske and I have had different studies and professional experiences, some Masters in common and some not, but I am sure that real scholars can learn very much by studying the books of this prestigious Author as well as my books and those of other good colleagues of ours.The book is well written, it includes many practical examples that guide the Reader towards a better understanding of theory and thus I recommend to all the purchase and reading of this book.It is definitely a five-star book!Ciro Discepolo
