And when the overthrown Empire-in-exile prepares to take back control of the galaxy with its own Force users, will the Jedi join them to defeat a common enemy? Review: As an Introduction to the Series - I eyed this particular volume for a very long time before I finally buckled and ordered it. I typically don't like to jump into the middle of a story, which is why I've only picked up the occasional comic book in the past, however I've been interested in this timeline since I found out about Cade Skywalker. The artwork of the first two volumes looked kind of silly, but they definitely nailed down the image they wanted to portray and it's fantastic. It is an extremely dense read, taking me several weeks to finish but I loved every minute of it front to back. I definitely can see myself reading it again later because there's so much I missed and has a lot going on. Anytime a new character or planet was mentioned it took me a while to adjust and I just had to respect that they would explain what was going on to those of us who haven't read the others. By the time I got to the last 3/4 of the book I understood all the characters and backstory that they brought in. I'm really surprised they didn't go with Cade for the sequel series as is in a fantastic twist to the traditional Sith/Jedi/Rebel/Empire dilemma the franchise follows. Who would have thought a pirate would have been the Galaxy's best defender. Review: End of an awesome run - Loved this comic book run when it first came out and super glad I re-bought once it came out in epic format.

Fun finale
This whole series is so much fun as a whole, itโs one of my favorite Star Wars stories. I think this volume is a little weaker, the end jumps around a little too much but overall itโs still a very entertaining story and a satisfying conclusion.

The end of one hero's journey
The story and art are constant with the rest of the series. It continues to flesh out some of the cast completing some of the arcs. The ending to Cade's journey to be ok. If you've read the previous entities then you might enjoy this.
