This lotion really helps extend my tan. I use the Norvell foam self tanner, then follow up daily with the extender moisturizer, and it lasts several days.

I own a tanning bed and for health reasons I finally decided to stop using it. I LOVE being dark though. It's addicting. I have tried other tanning lotions with the same results others have gotten, orange hands, streaky, etc. This lotion was recommended by a woman I saw in the grocery store who had a beautiful tan. I started using it but since I had a tan I didn't really see any difference. I am almost out of my first bottle and haven't been in my tanning bed for over a month. My legs are darker than what they were before I stopped tanning! My arms, though they have color are not as dark as my legs. I don't know if I'm not putting enough on or they are just being stubborn but I can see my face and chest have gotten darker as well. I used to tan in my bra and panties and just decided to start using the lotion ALL over so I have no lines. My whitest areas are now starting to get color (these were never exposed in the tanning bed so they were milky white). I use gloves to apply the lotion so I don't have any problems getting stains on my hands. The lotion spreads just like regular lotion so it's easy to rub in. It smells great too. I also have Hemp tanning lotion however I used almost the entire bottle and it was only giving me a bit of color. I know they have a darker kind but I wasn't able to find it. I am just so blown away by my results that I will (and already have) purchased another bottle of Norvell.. I know it's going to get a bit expensive but, for me, it's healthier and worth it. I really do recommend this tanning lotion. If you haven't tried it, I really hope you give it a chance!

This product was recommended to me by a client after I commented about how tan she looked and asked if she had been on vacation. I just tried it out and OMG am I ever IN LOVE with this product! I am normally a super pasty white queen of the vampires, and self tanners generally look ridiculous on me, but this stuff is incredible! I noticed I was darker after about 3 hours after application. It looks totally natural with no streaks or dark spots, it didn't leave my palms orange, it didn't stain my clothes or furniture, and best of all, not even a hint of bronzer smell! I absolutely hate the smell of bronzers and I can ALWAYS smell it. This truly just smelled like a nice lotion. It was very silky, but not greasy, and easy to apply. Will purchase again, as I will most likely become addicted to it!

I've used this lotion for over a year now. I have very fair skin, and it has never worked as a gradual tanner on me. It gives me a little color to cover up my paleness for the day which is a plus, but it only lasts for the day. You have to apply it daily to maintain the color and it appears about the same tone each time, so it doesn't get gradually darker. I also use it when I get spray tans to help extend them and keep moisturized. I also use it as an every day lotion when I don't have a spray tan because it's not greasy and that's why I love it! It's hard to find lotions that are not greasy. This one also dries fast and the smell is pleasant.

Love this lotion/ tan extender. Even if I've not tanned, it gives my skin a light tan color that helps me feel comfortable when wearing capri or shorts. Allow to dry and it doesn't rub off on clothing.

I bought this to extend an airbrush tan that I got. I was told that it was an extender - however if you read the bottle it says over time it ads color. Well my airbrushed tan has been gone for 2+ weeks and I still have a mild sun kissed glow from this lotion! Its great! Its also a great texture - not greasy and nice and thick. It does not stain. It does moisturize - as a matter of fact it moisturizes better than a lot of lotions I've used! And I like the smell. Best part is it does all this and its cruelty free/vegan!!

I bought my first bottle at a salon and paid full price. Loved the product and its results of glowy skin without cancer, wanted to save money, so Amazon to the rescue. WRONG. Never buy unsealed lotions from Amazon. I've been warned at the salon that most of tanning lotions on Amazon are fake, but wanted to save money and figured salon ppl were just being snooty. I'm just grateful I had some of the real, salon-bought lotion left to compare, because what I got is NOTHING like the real stuff. Who knows what's in it?!?! The lotion I got differs in color (too white), scent is different and of course, it doesn't tan at all. RIP OFF. Shameful.
