Titan Building Products - Post Brace (Without Screws)

This bracket is exactly what we needed to fix our 20 year old creaky deck rail. It worked so well, we ordered another for the other end of the deck. Just make sure that the post and wood deck are solid enough to hold the screws.

The braces really stabilized the rail post.

This worked perfectly to give me the added support I needed for my gate.

I have a couple of tall posts on my deck and these braces made the posts rock solid again. A little pricy, but worth what they cost for what they do. My only suggestion is that the supplier should supply black screws as the silver screw heads shipped with the braces had to be painted to keep them from standing out against the black braces (the pictures on the sales site shows black screws). The look is great - not obtrusive at all, in fact, they add a nice look to my deck. All-in-all, a great purchase.
