We live in rural Idaho; we have frequent outages. We also have an old pickup that we work on, we camp, have animals we sometimes need to check on in the middle of the night. This flashlight is perfect for all these situations. I am 5'4" 120 - my husband is 6'2" 200...It works ergonomically for both of us. It is light in weight and super bright. I always thought that if a flashlight was good it was heavy..not the case anymore.

I bought this spot light because I live in the country and there is no yard light. A regular flashlight is only useful for close-up visualization. This spot light is awesome to be able to see what critters, and/or whatever the dog is barking at, in the surrounding acreage. One button switch for the high and low beam and hold switch for a couple of seconds for a strobe warning light. Second switch is for a one-sided rectangle lantern light for high and low light, and hold switch for a couple of seconds for a flashlight blue then red emergency light. It comes with a carrying strap, a small hard plastic screw mount tripod and AC adapter to charge the battery. Since it is so lightweight plastic, and does need a bunch of batteries, it feels like a kid's toy. It's great for around the house. Another one in the vehicle would be a great idea. I have no clue yet on how long a charge lasts or how much really cold weather affects the charge.

This is a great portable flashlight/spotlight for all sorts of activities both in and outdoors.There are 2 brightness settings for each light (flashlight and side light). Lasts all night on a single charge.I especially like how light (no pun intended) it is and that it comes with a strap. Every year I travel to Romania during the fall to hunt for trolls. You have to shine a really bright light in their eyes before you stab them and steal their souls. I'm pretty sure this light will be bright enough. I can't wait to catch my first one!

this is a VERY bright SPOTLIGHT. The beam has a very narrow focus. At 100 ft or so the circle of bright light is around 8 ft. There is some spillage of light that allows you to see outside the beam. There is no focus adjustment. This is exactly what I hoped for.The lantern feature is very useful to light the space near you.I am leaving it plugged in so that a full charge is always available. One reviewer pointed out that the charger stopped charging at full charge.It is too soon to tell about durability. I will update the review if it fails. So if I haven't updated the review, It has not failed.s

It does what you expect, but it doesn't illuminate a whole lot. This is largely due to the spotlight's range. If you're expecting it to light up a large area, you'll be a bit disappointed. The torchlight is more handy than I thought for hands-free needs.

I’ve dropped it twice so far and it has not shattered or quit working. Lol. The beam goes forever from it and it lights up my backyard which is why I bought it...so I can see my mini schnauzer in the dark. I don’t know about battery life yet. I’ve had it about 2-3 weeks and use it regularly and have not recharged so I think it seems pretty decent. Definitely worth the money.

A bright rechargeable light is important for me going into corners of my basement and in the backyard when it's dark. I can't get over how quickly bright non-rechargeable lights used up batteries. If you need a bright light to use regularly, this seems to be as good as you can get. I wish it had an adjustable beam. This is the second one I bought because my previous one took an 8' drop off my deck. So don't drop it!
