Park Tool Replacement Brush for GSC-1C Cog Brush

I like all my Park tools; however, this purchase went badly. I bought the item thinking I would be receiving the brush as depicted. I received only the replacement BRISTLES -- not the plastic brush. It wasn't enough $$ to hassle with a return, but I feel slighted by Amazon & Park. Not to worry, one of the mechanics at my bike shop showed me how to get better cog-cleaning results with a piece of corrugated cardboard! No need to buy the brush at all.

Others have stated they felt deceived by the picture, believing they would receive the entire brush+handle, not just the replacement black brush. When I ordered, I was only expecting the replacement black brush, since I already have the tool. But what I received was the blue handle with the black brushes installed, basically the complete tool. The blue handle looks different from the original. The raised, molded in part number doesn't look nearly as good as the original Park Tools brush, and the patent number block on the handle is blank, where the original authentic Park Tools brush has the patent number stamped on it. Is the handle counterfeit? I don't know, but it feels like it. Regardless, it'll do the job I need a brush to do.

Exactly what was advertised. A brush to insert into your old Park handle. Takes the big chunks of wax lube and dirt off your cassette.

This product is misleading. I wish I read the other person's review before ordering this. It is ONLY a replacement brush and not the whole brush as pictured. Will be trying to return it...

This is a replacement of the actual brush bristles. From the photo I was lead to believe it was a replacement brush, as the brushes are typically sold in a set.

Works great, changeable brush head

I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE ADVERTISING OF THIS ITEM. LIKE OTHER REVIEWERS, I THOUGHT, BASED ON THE PHOTO, THAT I WOULD RECEIVE THE WHOLE BRUSH; INSTEAD, I ONLY RECEIVED THE BRISTLES, NOT THE HANDLE. NOT WORTH THE HASSLE OF RETURNING. PRETTY CHEESY TACTICS, IN MY MIND.

I'm sure this is great if you already own the brush. But this is NOT the tool pictured! It is only the bristles. The blue handle is not included.

Hate to get rid of the entire brush when I can make it "new" again by replacing the brushes! A great idea from Park Tools!!!

i was expecting the whole brush as shown in the picture but if you order this product you will only receive the black bristle part!!!
