The worst tool
I knew I was taking a chance when I ordered this because of the bad reviews, but thought I would take a chance. Well, the bad reviews are absolutely correct. My knife arrived with one of the wooden handles loose, but more importantly, the quality of the blade was terrible. It was sharpened uneven and had gouges and large chips missing on the blade. I'm not an expert woodworker, but even my layman's eyes could tell the workmanship on this blade was awful.

Clean Shave at last
This shave is perfect for what I wanted and amazingly very sharp for a wood tool made in China. This is the first one from China with a razor sharp blade that let nothing get in it's way to stop it. The blade is not perfectly straight as advertised but is slightly convex along the cutting edge and narrow from back of blade to cutting edge which allowed me to "dig" small areas easily and cleanly. So far I love it and the well worth the price. Did have to strop the edge as it had a very light birr but used it before I did that without any problems.

Shody workmanship
Cheap Chinese crap. Noting like the picture, picture shows one piece straight metal blade, what I got was a convex curved metal blade welded to round bar stock and the weld looks like a first time welder did it. DON'T BUY.

Item is different than what's shown in the pics for this product (TMB-05DS)
Item is not as described and not as shown in the picture.Claim is "Ultra-Sharp"... This is far from accurate. I'm going to have to grind, or file down the burs and unevenness of the manufacturer grind quality. It's hideous.Claim is "Straight Draw"... Again, this is far from accurate. The picture shows a straight blade and the reason I chose this product to purchase. The blade is concaved and will cup the wood when it's drawn.I'd like a straight blade, like the one pictured.

Rusted before even using it
It has dusted already. The issue is that I haven’t even gotten a chance to use it yet. I opened the box to look at it and put it up. It has been in my house, not a building for a handful of weeks. I got it out yesterday and all of the metal is covered in rust.

Timber Tuff 5" straight Draw knife. DON"T BUY THIS TOOL.
I own a lot of tools. Roll away cabinets full of mechanic's tools, a shop full of wood working tools, plumbing tools, electricians tools, leather crafting tools, wood carving tools, watch making tools and more tools of all shapes and sizes. Some of my tools were hand me downs fifty years ago, and still work great. I even make my own tools when it is necessary.. THIS IS THE WORST TOOL I EVER OWNED.It's true, you get what you pay for. Shame on me, I should have known better. Out of the box, one handle was very loose, one almost tight enough to be safely used. It was supposed to be a straight draw tool. It has a slight curve, not as pronounced as the curved version, but certainly not straight. The " sharpened" edge looked like it was done on a hand held angle grinder. It was not straight, it was not smooth, and it was not sharp enough to use. The edge had chips out of it and the blade has pock marks.I have written a lot of reviews, and this is the first really negative one I have ever done. Spend a few more dollars, and buy a higher quality tool.

Using this for cutting back PVC coating on robroy conduit
I'm not using this for the classic purpose. I'm an industrial electrician, and I use this for cutting back PVC coating on robroy conduit before threading it.

Chinese junk. total rip off.
Very low quality. The blade is not anywhere sharp. Its rounded off at the edge in fact. The steel looks like cheap pot metal. Not the same one in the picture either. I wanted to return it as soon as I saw it. Worst draw knife I have ever seen in my life. Worth about 2 dollars. I feel ripped off. Try pressing your finger into a REAL draw knife. And this was straight out the box.

Misrepresentation and poor quality
Misrepresentation and poor quality. The images displayed are mixed. They show a straight blade and then a curved one. It’s the curved one you’ll receive.Poor quality. The second time I regret buying at amazon. I would compare some of their products to the ones sold at Wish.
