BLOCH Dance Jazz Women Shoe's Super Leather with Strong Elastic Slip On, High Durability, Neoprene Stretch Satin, Dancing Shoe

This was perfect for my daughters theater camp! She wore them every day for a month and they were great quality.

I bought the Bloch jazz shoes to wear for recital. They are so comfortable with just a small heel making me feel as if I’m still barefoot. Easy on & off without having to buckle make it perfect for me. Soft leather caresses my feet to insure no blistering. Very pleased with the cost & next day delivery.

Even though this shoe was not the right fit for me, I gave it four stars because the quality of the shoe was excellent, very well made with soft leather, hugging arch underneath, and good soles for turning, as well as a nice inner lining. That said, I wear a size 7 to 7.5 street shoe size and I ordered these in a size 8. So many reviewers said they run small, and the recommended sizing said go with street shoe size to 1/2 size up. I received them in the mail and tried them on and they were way too long in the toe area, though fit nicely as far as width on my wide feet (I have high arches and wide feet at metatarsal that sharply taper/narrow to the heel). There was so much extra material in the toe that the soles did not line up correctly and if I had tried to dance in these I would have tripped all over the place. I would have exchanged these for a size 7 but the other issue I had was the heel came up too high on the back of my foot for comfort. It dug into the back of my leg. So even with the correct sizing I suspect this would be an issue as it is with many types of shoes for me. So reluctantly I returned them (which thankfully was a breeze as I had never returned anything before by mail). I am not giving up though and ordered the Bloch Pulse style jazz shoe in a smaller size but wide option. The heel looks different on that shoe and I am hoping it will be a better fit. Why oh why isn't there a dance store in my neck of the woods, with several ballet and dance companies up here! Ugh. Such a guessing game with shoe sizing.

I'm on a third pair for my daughter. It seems they only last 6 months at best. I don't know if that's the norm but at $46 it's a pain in my wallet.

Daughter wore them for only 3 practices & toe already began to wear through (see pic). Practice was on a basketball court floor not anything overly rough.

We had no idea how bad the old shoes were until the new ones arrived. We needed these about 6 months ago!

I absolutely LOVE the feel of this shoe. Not having an arch is not a deterrent as it is necessary to bend to the natural shape of the foot with extreme ease and flexibility to point toes and move about.I normally wear an 8.5 shoe and found that it was just a smidge small. I feel like I could have broken them in, as they are real leather uppers, but I only use them once a week and didn’t want to wait for them to stretch a little. I returned the 8.5 and went with a 9 and it is PERFECT!!! May e in a few years they will be too big, but for right now they are so comfortable…… like a slipper on my feet.

Very comfortable, easy to move in! I use this for salsa dancing. Spins and turns are easy.
