MediChoice Pressure-Relieving Heel Protector, Premium, With Gel Pack, Microfiber Fabric (Each of 1)

My mom has dementia and is no longer able to walk. Since she is spending more and more time in bed and in her wheelchair or lift chair I ordered these boots to avoid pressure sores. So far so good. They also help keep her knees and hips straight. she has a tendency to roll her left leg in, which can be painful for her when we move her. These work great.

I’m a size 9 and just got this. Should have read the comment first before buying. Recently had Ankle surgery and my toes stick out of the boot by 3 inch’s which doesn’t really protect it. You get hit in the toes and its painful throughout your foot. Its comfortable but not big enough...Universal size does not work..they need real sizes.. I need protection. Reconstructive surgery its a long healing process and was looking for a soft protection boot to sleep in, instead of the uncomfortable boot I’m stuck wearing. Disappointed. Gave 2 stars for the comfort and when it arrive.

The Heel Protector was purchased mainly for the cutaway heel. My wife has very poor circulation in her legs making it difficult to heal the wound on the back of her left heel and I'm looking for every advantage to promote this. I do not use the gel pack as my wife's lower leg is swollen and it would make fastening the upper strap more difficult. The Protector appears to be well made and my wife claims that it is comfortable. I have not yet had reason to clean it, so I cannot comment on this and its durability remains to be seen..

Very soft, easy to use and worth the money. The only issue I came across was the ice pack fits in place to cool the heel to above the ankle along the backside of your lower leg. They need to add a slot for the part of the product where to bottom of the foot rests. It would make the product usable my people with different foot/ankle needs. Otherwise an amazing product. My poor sutured up foot is resting in it right now as I type this message... ahhhh

This boot is pricey, but does the trick in protection and comfort.

Sizing is small (I am a female who wears a 9-10) The light blue portion is soft but the lining for the back of the calf is less comfortable. I would not recommend this product.

This is a great foot stabilizer to wear at night while sleeping. It stabilizes the foot/ ankle extremely well. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 is it could really use another strap to secure it in place. Your foot slides around quite a bit in it.
