DEWALT 20V MAX* XR Leaf Blower, 125-MPH, 450-CFM (DCBL722P1)

I bought this DeWalt blower back in 2023 and it’s been one of my favorite tools ever since. I used it constantly when I was keeping up with the yard and cleaning up after woodworking on the carport — benches, pavement, sawdust, all of it. It has plenty of power for leaves and general debris, and it makes cleanup fast and easy. It doesn’t move pine needles very well, but that’s pretty normal for most blowers. For everything else, it’s been great. My wife actually uses it more than I do now for quick outdoor cleanup, and she likes how lightweight and simple it is to grab and go. Overall, it’s a solid blower with good battery life, strong airflow, and dependable performance. If you’re already in the DeWalt ecosystem, this is an easy recommendation.

Its ergonomic design allows for comfortable use over extended periods, suitable even for individuals with physical limitations like arthritis. Noise Level: It operates quieter compared to gas blowers, which is great for maintaining a peaceful neighborhood environment. Customer Service: My experience with DEWALT's customer service has been positive, especially noting an instance where a faulty blower was replaced promptly. Additional Features: The variable speed trigger enhances control over the blowing power. The cordless design is convenient, eliminating the need for extension cords or handling gas. Compatibility with Other Tools: The compatibility of its batteries with other DEWALT tools is a significant advantage. Durability: The blower is generally durable, though there have been rare instances of malfunction. Overall Satisfaction: I am highly satisfied with the blower and would recommend it for residential use. However, for heavy-duty tasks like large-scale leaf cleanup, it might not be the best fit. Miscellaneous: One downside is the lack of leaf mulching capability. It's also useful for blowing off vehicles and small outdoor spaces. The cost of additional batteries can be a concern.

Performs just as I had hoped! Single family residence. Nothing heavy-duty, just perfect for "cleaning up" drive & patio after mowing. Has plenty of power and keeps a charge impressively well. Definitely recommend!

Battery even when brand new drained from a full charge in 15 minutes. Luckily, I had a spare battery ro finish the job. The old 18V batteries seemed to be stronger for a longer period of time. Disappointing for sure. The blower was okay, nothing special.

Very powerful. Easy to use and not heavy. I like that it runs on batteries and not gasoline. I ordered an extra battery but we have not needed a second one as yet.

Love this light weight blower easy to use for quick clean up of porch and sidewalk. I have a back pack blower but this is fast and easy to use.

This blower works as well as my old gas blower. Easy to use and light weight. Great for the do it yourself yard work person. I will say the dewalt battery's hold there change better than the knock -offs.

Ok I just received this 3/5/24 I charged the battery all the way and used it 3 cars to blow water off and on rims and grills. The 20v 5 hour battery that came with it died. I put in a fully charged 20 v 2 hr battery and it killed that 1 in 4 minutes. I'm going to charge them again and give her another shot. I has good power when a fresh battery is put in on it but after a few minutes it kills the battery so far not impressed. May have to return. I am adding to my first review. I purchased a 2nd 20v 5AH battery. When it came in it had 1 bar on the battery life indicator. I charged it and it showed charged in 20 minutes. That didn't seem right so I took it off the charger and reinsert it and the indicator showed it wasnt charged yet. I left it longer and it fully charged later. I did the same to the first battery and it made a difference. The batteries are lasting longer and the blower itself is working as advertised and I am giving it a much deserved 5 stars now. I actually don't believe in giving a great review within a week of receiving a product. It takes a bit to make sure it works correctly to give a good review. This is a good product in my opinion noe that I have used it worked out the kinks.

Very powerful blower, my only advice would to have a second battery on hand as it drains a battery after 10-15 minutes on full force….but in all fairness I am blowing snow off my walk way and vehicle, so that’s maybe abnormal use for this blower..but it does get the job done and works like a champ.
