Work but will go back towards alkaline slowly over about a week as it has urea which breaks down to ammonia, good but not great. On the plus side it is VERY concentrate and you will not need a whole lot -- like about 10ml to 10 US gals to get from 8.1 ph to about 5.8ish for about 5 days.

I've been using GH ph down for some time, and works just like it should. Just a small amount dose quite a bit, so be careful.
