Aran CraftsMen's Irish Cable Knitted Curl Neck Sweater (100% Donegal Wool)

This sweater is falling apart after only three months. I purchased three of these sweaters, and now I am concerned about their longevity. The sweaters have a very loose/large neck/head opening, and there is never any stress when pulling on or taking off the sweater...so there is absolutely no stress in the area that this sweater has proved defective.Aran Crafts has gave me the runaround, rather than immediately offering to replace the sweater, or to offer a full refund. This, after sending multiple photos (at their request). UPDATE: After four days of dragging their feet, I have a full refund.Purchase at your own risk.

This is an excellent quality (but poorly sized) sweater. They are, by design, supposed to be loose fitting- not snug or tight fitting.I purchased a size 2XL. The issue: Had I purchased 1 size larger (if they had a 3XL), I would have had a great fitting sweater with sleeves so long I would look like Dopey from Snow a White & the Seven Dwarfs.It may be the sweater I bought is a proper fit for an Irishman, but AMERICAN men are built bigger in the shoulders- much bigger. The maker should take this into consideration for its North American markets and produce a loose fitting sweater sized for their cousins in North America.

I’m 5’9”, 170 LBS. 41 chest, 32 waist. I bought a size large and it fits well. Not too baggy around the waist.

This sweater is beautiful, fits perfectly, and is extremely comfortable. The multi-colored Donegal yarns add textural interest to the simple knit pattern.

This was bought as a gift for my son for Christmas, and he was totally delighted with it. It really is beautifully made.

This is the ultimate wool sweater. I love it. It is 100% wool, fit great. I have had so many comments on how nice of a sweater it is. If you are looking for an authentic Irish real wool sweater, then this is it.

if your objective is to wear a really warm sweater . . . THIS is IT.

I love this sweater. It is a rugged heavy duty sweater that I hope lasts a lifetime. I can wear this out in the woods hunting and wear it casually around home.
