Much Better than the Source
I’ve looked into the Plant Paradox and the original guide written by Dr Gundry, and it was just too much for me to take in. 400 pages is great for a thesis, but “ain’t nobody got time for that”. This guide is hands-down the best summary of the guide I have found. Each chapter contains key pointers for easy future reference, along with a more detailed discussion. It is concise without feeling rushed, and covers everything contained in the source guide in an easy to digest (pun intended) manner. Five stars!

Good book for those on a plant based diet.
Countless people have jumped on the bandwagon of low fat, low carb, Paleo, low glycemic as well as numerous other diets, only to realize that these were unsustainable in the long term. They may also be at suffering from weight rebound, where the initial weight they lost during the earlier stages of the diet is quickly and mercilessly gained back. Exercising does not seem to help either, despite putting in the hard work, sweat and hours into the gym and cardio programs. The excess weight just does not seem to melt awayThis book will reveal to you all the causes which induce tiredness, weight gain, chronic body pains as well as a whole host of health issues.

Lot of info!
I have not had time to read the entire book. However, I am being pressured to leave a review. So I will be honest. Some of the info is interesting, though somewhat hard to follow. I would recommend reading it, then reading it again to get the most of out it. I am always open to learning how to make my family healthier. We know that a lot of our food has pesticides and other poisons in it. Knowing which foods will compliment our bodies is paramount. Not all "healthy" food is actually healthy. Much like eggs are healthy some years, unhealthy others. Find what works for you.

Intriguing concept
My husband who recently turned 50 has started to have issues with his cholesterol and blood pressure. This came out of nowhere because he has a really healthy, mostly vegan diet. I thought this was a very interesting concept. It sounds weird because some of it directly contradicts what we have always heard about nutrition (meat=bad, vegetables=good). The author does a very good job of explaining why not all vegetables are as healthy as you have been told.

Great info
I loved how the summary of this book told me the key points to each section in the beginning so that I could investigate further if I needed to do so. I would recommend this book to anyone with an autoimmune disorder or inflammation problems.

Think about what you eat
I found this book very informative for dieters. It’s important to understand what you are putting in your body and how you are doing it since so many diets have put out false or missing information and then the diet does not help the dieter. This book helps correct and bring understanding to those misinterpretations to give dieters a chance to actually lose weight. It is something that needs to be read twice to take it all in.
