Excellent Book to Enhance Your Quality Management and Data Analytics Skills
This quality management book is fantastic, and is an effective educational resource to enhance and accelerate your introduction into quality management and learning how to apply quality management tools and data analytics skills in helping to address current healthcare problems. Its a great resource to utilize in any quality mgmt course or health administration program. The first few chapters provide a nice background into the history of quality management, its pioneers, and tips for success in problem solving using quality process improvement cycles. The book is very well organized and well written. The cases provide for excellent opportunities to practice problem solving by utilizing any evidenced-based process improvement methods, such as with A3 templates, PDSA (Plan-Do-Study-Act), or DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control). The cases themselves are quite entertaining with unique situations and perspectives, which makes for a fun read and challenge to push you to work through some "messy" healthcare problems. If you want to fine tune or learn some impactful qualify management tools, such as pivot tables, scatter plots, flow diagrams, value stream mapping, bar charts, pareto charts, among many others, to benefit your career as a healthcare administrator or process improvement expert this book is a great launching point.

Excellent Book for Students & Healthcare Professionals
I am a student in a health administration master’s program and just completed a Quality Management course that required this textbook. The course was online, which typically I find can be difficult due to dry reading material. However, this textbook had a completely different approach and was very easy to follow. If you buy the physical book the QR code inside also gives you access to the digital version on the SpringerPub website. The textbook is divided into two parts: Part 1. contains 6 chapters of meaningful quality management information that prepares you to tackle Part 2. which consists of realistic healthcare problem solving cases. Additionally, Part 2 gives access to datafiles that add to the real-world feel of these cases, and podcasts of interviews with healthcare professionals sharing their experiences with similar problems.Whether you’re a student or a working professional, I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in learning about healthcare quality management or testing their knowledge by working through the cases.

A Deep Dive into Quality Management
I am a second year MHA student and am still learning about quality management. This book provides a fun and interactive way to learn by including real world cases which are a joy to read. In my case, one of the authors of the book, Dr. Zachary Pruitt, is also the instructor of the class and so having access to the author's opinions and feedback is a huge bonus. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and I hope to learn more as time goes on.

Excellent book
I took a course: "Managing Quality in Health Care," and this book was the strong point of the course. The practical cases bring a vision of what happens in the job market, and the problem-solving tool A3 guides us perfectly in the necessary approach. Congratulations to the authors. Books like this are a bridge between academia and real life, which encourages students to learn.
