Not true hi-fi but at the price a lovely little amplifier.Proper binding posts for speaker connection and I am impressed by the quality of sound through my stand mounted Kef speakers.Neutral with plenty of range and more than enough volume for an enjoyable living room experience.

Build quality - Good, solid metal, no rattles.Sound quality - Good. Tested alongside a Pioneer A-109 through some old JVC 6" speakers for comparison. Couldn't hear any difference across multiple tracks at different volumes, so it seems transparent enough. It has roughly the same lows, mids and highs throughout its volume range as the Pioneer.Volume - Good. Capable of getting painfully loud in a bedroom environment, before any obvious distortion.Noise floor (hiss level) - Good. Only slightly higher than the Pioneer, but inaudible at normal volumes, and slightly lower than my Nobsound NS-01G. Presumably better than most other class-D/T amps.One minor criticism - The included power-supply looked used, with few marks and hairs on it, which detracted from the otherwise good presentation of the product. FYI it came with a legal UK plug, which they've had issues with in the past.

Used this to power a pair of wharefdale diamond 9s connected to a chromecast audio as part of a whole house system. Plenty of power for what I need, nice tone, could perhaps use a bit more bass, but that is being a bit picky and could be the source or the speakers. The unit is small and unobtrusive, but feels solid and well made, the volume control has a nice weight and the blue led around it looks good and gives a visual indicator of power on. Note that the included power supply is 12volt, if you need more power from the amp you may need to step this up to 18 or 24v.

I bought this thinking it might not be powerful enough to drive my old Sony LBT-LX5 140W RMS (6 ohm) speakers, but wow, was I pleasantly surprised! The sound is clear and punchy and I have not even tested the max upper limit fully as it is perfectly loud enough at around 60% volume. Excellent product for the price and so small!

Small, neat and a good approach to the original sound, no tone control circuits to muddy the sound. Partnered with JBL control one speakers using high quality speaker cables. Very pleased with the quality sound of this amp for a relatively small outlay. Used with my Mac to play CDs and iTunes MP3s. Must say it reveals the shortcomings of standard MP3s, CDs sound a lot better

UPDATE: Unfortunately, after three months this amp has stopped working. The light around the volume still comes on, but no sound comes out. Good while it lasted, but it's just a brick now and outside the Amazon return window.Really happy with this little amp. Using with a Squeezebox Classic and Q Acoustics 2010i speakers. I was concerned that it might not play loud enough but my concerns were unfounded, the sound is plenty loud and very articulate.

Had high hopes for this little amp after reading previous reviews and happy to say it hasn't disappointed one bit.It's even smaller than I'd realised which is a bonus. But it's the clean sound that really impresses. Very simple with no tone control, which is exactly what I wanted.Overall very happy!

I bought this because i have used the 50w version for some time so putting a new system together, this was a no brainer for me. it works well and sound much bigger than it looks, i have partnered this with Q Acoustics speakers and so far quite pleased with the sound and volume level.
