These paint brushes were a spur of the moment purchase that I got to finish a small DIY job that required painting and clear coating.They're standard brushes, nothing special but helped complete the job nicely. They provided an even coat of both paint and slightly thicker clear coat giving the ideal finish to my project with multiple sizes of brush to allow me to get into small dints in the wood.I forgot to clean the brushes straight after I'd finished painting and got left for about 12 hours. When I got home from work I realised I needed to apply another coat so quickly threw them in some white spirit and left them for a few hours.After letting them sit and agitating them slightly, the brushes had stained, however I was using black paint, but they still dried well and allowed me to apply another coat of paint and a healthy layer of clear coat.For the price, these are cheap enough to not have to worry about making a mess of them but also being able to give you a solid result.

I brought these to paint and renovate some external garage doors. The wood stain I will be using can be hard to entirely clean from brushes and I wanted some reasonably priced brushes that were potentially 'expendable'.I am impressed with this set. You get a good range of sizes. The plastic handles are good to hold and don't slip around. The man made bristle are good quality and anyway one can, in my experience, usually rely on Harris.I have used just one of the brushes, so far. It didn't shed too any great extent and left a smooth finish. It held the stain well and didn't give me any rubs or blisters.So it is 5 stars and the thumbs up from me. If you need some cheap brushes these will serve you well. I imagine they would work very well with interior gloss or emulsion paint jobs, to.

I've bought these a couple of times now. They're a great price and I like the different sizes for all types of painting jobs. Plastic handle, bristles aren't too thick, so making paintwork look smooth. I have had some loose bristles, but nothing too bad.

Such good value I'd got them to throw away after a heavy paint job but they were such good quality and so easily cleaned I couldn't part with them, used them many times now on fencing and Masonary too

Great brushes! Makes the boring job of painting so much easier. I’ve used them with gloss and matt paint now. Bristles don’t come out and they are super easy to clean and then use again. Well deserving of the five stars I’ve given them.
