Just buy them.
I have plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, and heel pain, and my feet are somewhat narrow with high arches. For one of my jobs I stand on my feet for long hours, and I'm usually pretty miserable for hours after. My podiatrist recommended the Kholo sandals for around the house, but the normal size I wear, an 8, was too large for me, so I purchased these in a 7.First, the fit. Normally I wear an 8-8.5 in most shoes. I like a roomy toebox. I was worried going down a size to a 7 would make the toebox cramped and uncomfortable. Not in these shoes! The toebox is definitely roomy, and the rest of the shoe fits snug but not tight. It doesn't feel like I'm going to lose my shoes when I'm sitting on a barstool. The metatarsal support takes a little getting used to, but after a few days it feels great. The cork sole also took a little getting used to, but I like the feel of it now. These are far more comfortable than any other shoe I own. They're also really cute!As for pain relief, these shoes are fantastic. My heel pain is mostly gone after wearing these for a week. I don't feel any referred pain to my toes anymore, and I can stand for long periods of time again. I even jogged down the hall at work yesterday - no pain. After the first few hours I decided these weren't "for around the house", and now I wear them everywhere.I'm definitely going to get a few pairs in other colors, and try out the insoles and the flip flops.

I love these slides!
After back surgery in May 2013, I began having this painful sensation of someone squeezing my ankles and Achilles's tendons. I went to the doctor, and he said I was getting nerve recovery, that I had a major Achilles's tendon tear that I had never felt before because of the nerve impingement. He also said I had very flat feet and over-pronated (turned my right foot in when I walked). He told me no more sandals and that I had to wear very good orthotic sneakers. I was devastated. I bought the $150 sneakers, which do feel much better, but are obviously heavier than sandals.I went online and did a search for over-pronation and orthotic brands of shoes and found Spenco. I bought both the slides and shoes to take with me down to our Florida home.I love the slides! When I had my feet measured for the sneakers, I was told I was actually a size 10EE, not a 9W! The size 10 Spenco's fit , but are a little roomy. I am used to wearing size 9. The arch support hits my arch in the right place. They feel as light as sandals and I wear them all the time.My one complaint is with the material the shoes are made from. I had the red shoes delivered to our Florida home, and they immediately began to fade in the front. They don't look bad, but I would have liked the new look to last longer. The material appears to be almost a burlap, but is described as weathered canvas. They definitely look weathered, but I guess they are supposed to.I love these shoes and would highly recommend them. My right foot, which is the one that over-pronates, is now facing more frontwards rather than so severely out to the right when I walk. My right hip feels better. I know my gait is better.I would highly recommend these shoes. I think they are probably true to size.

Very comfortable
I was looking for a good traveling/ walking shoe, I hesitated in buying these due to some of the negative reviews. I accidentally put them on my wish list instead of shopping list while considering options. My son saw them on my list and sent them to me for Mother’s Day. What a wonderful surprise !These are so comfortable and great for walking. The arch support is just perfect. I need a good arch support but not one too high, this shoe fits the bill. I don’t like cramming my feet into the toe of a shoe and these give a comfortable amount of breathing room without being loose. I tend to wear Birkenstock shoes and these give a little less room in the toe. If you have a narrow foot these most likely would not be for you. Admittedly I was not sure about the boxie look initially but changed my opinion quickly. The insole is a cork type material (or at least appears to be) which adds additional comfort. These are so comfortable I bought a second pair.Unlike other reviews, I have had no issues with the seams coming apart, or the toe being too wide. Highly recommend- great for walking without looking like you are heading to the gym.

Wider than you may expect.
FYI...These shows are wide even if you order a regular 9, comes wide as a B. I didn't notice this specified as usually I take an A width. But I will keep them as they are great to wear if having problems with plantar fascitis. Plenty of room for my toes to spread out.

These are my favorite shoes! I LOVE the arch support, the footbed and the deep heel cupping.
I bought these just to wear around the house. I love them! They are the most comfortable shoes I have. I don't like furry slippers. I LOVE the arch support, the footbed and the deep heel cupping. I have Achilles Tendonitis and a Heel Spur and these are the most comfortable shoes I have. I love them and I hope they never stop making them.

They never made it.
I left a few stars because I think that this is a good shoe. But, they never arrived. I wasn't billed for them.
