Millie Marotta's Animal Kingdom: Mini Edition (A Millie Marotta Adult Coloring Book)

I was a little intimidated at first. I’ve never tackled anything so complicated. But I’ve had so much fun. I’m glad I got out of my comfort zone .

I love this book. Many of the pictures are extremely detailed which I prefer. Nice size, beautiful images. Paper is fairly thick, but there is some bleeding with heavier markers or gel pens. Great with colored pencils. Images are printed on both sides so it's ideal for a carry around, but not so much if you like to frame or gift your work.

It’s very cute and the perfect size

I love that I can grab this book and put it in my purse! While waiting for kids or sitting at an appointment to be seen. It’s small enough to take out and not be a big distraction. The art is very cool. The only thing’s I would say to be aware of is the pages are a great thick paper but I use gel pens, (lots of different high quality brands) and the gel takes way longer to dry on this paper. For example you don’t want to close the book suddenly right after you colored or it’s definitely going to smear. I do wish that the art work was not on both front and back of page because I personally like to tear mine out to display it. I’m still giving 5 stars because it is still an incredible book and very unique. I hope this helps. I do recommend getting one. They are definitely one of a kind. 🌹

Not what I expected.

I love Millie Marotta's art and was so excited for these mini coloring releases, but this paper is terrible. I honestly don't know what medium this paper is for. The pages aren't thick enough to handle markers or gel pens, but the paper has no tooth and so pencils don't lay down well at all. I'm not using lost supplies either. I'm using my Polychromos and they have nothing to hold on to. So disappointing!

These mini coloring books are PERFECT. On every level. Millie Marotta you are such a gift. Incredible talent. Thank you for sharing!!!

No começo estranhei o tamanho da edição mini. Depois achei excelente. Como as áreas do colorido são menores, você economiza tempo e material artístico. E o prazer de colorir é o mesmo, acrescido ainda da grata satisfação de poder finalizar a pintura no mesmo dia em que começou.
