The dress is lovely. It is washable, with reasonable care. True to size, except for me it was too long and I had to shorten it. Other than that, I loved it.

I bought this dress for Halloween weekend with the intent to wear it at least 3 times.The reviews I read said to size down because it’s usually loose and I’m right on the edge of a medium/large so I went with a medium.The skirt does not stretch whatsoever and digs into my ribs. So definitely don’t size down if you’re a little wider. The top has some wiggle room because it ties in the back.I cut the padding out of the top because the pads were so high up that I couldn’t wear a bra and also they didn’t match my real “chest”.The material is great but does pill easily. My top has some marks on it after the first day of wear-I do teach preschool though so I could see how that would happen.Otherwise it’s a very nice costume and I really love it.It came early and quickly.Hoping it washes well and I can wear it a few more times this year before retiring it.

I got a LOT of compliments beautiful TWO-PIECE Regency dress set, but please note that although the skirt fit to perfection at waist and length (I’m 5’4”), the top was REALLY big in the bosom area. Even with “help” I couldn't fill it and I’m 35C.. :) The top is ill-fitting unless taken in considerably on the sides. __It was well made with neat stitching and looks FAR more expensive than what I paid. Great buy!!

the dress is very comfy! i bought it for a cosplay, and it was put to great use, as i wear it for more than that too! the decorative buttons were put on a bit poorly, so they had all come off by the second day, but i'm sure i'll be able to sow them back on easily. the top is a bit tight, and it does have some paddings, so maybe size up just a bit if you're bigger up there. the corset/ish part does work wonders though.

True to size, perfect for themed party...back could lace up a bit more efficiently, but overall good purchase for the price

5'3 and 130 pounds - ordered the medium and it was an odd shape. The bottom half was fine- just pinned it so it sat higher and wore heeled booties for the length. The Top though is super off. The chest could've fit 3 more sets of breasts. The breast pads also sat about 3 inches above my real ones. The top would not stay pulled down. Overall the costume worked but just a few really weird fitting issues. I should've gotten the small.

My expectations were low, but we like the dress. I think it's well made and worth the price. I got size XS for my eleven year old who wears a girls size 12 slim in pants and 12 regular top and is 4'11". The top fits well, and the skirt is a tad big in the waist (as I expected for her) and we'll need to hem up about two-three inches from the length.
