The tub arrived in good shape, no dents or evidence of damage. I was still using another dried dairy product which I liked a lot so I did not start to use it immediately, as I had planned on use being more-or-less emergency-based.PROS: Good quality product, with only the removal of fat. Pretty good taste, unlike dried milk products I recall from my childhood and beyond which had to be blended with real milk to even be tolerated.CONS: Steep learning curve to obtain actually drinkable form. I had intended this as an additional protein in my coffee, so I put the powder into my hot coffee - and it immediately clumped, providing lumps, which were not dissolvible no matter how long I stirred or mashed. I tried hot water. Same result. I tried cold water. Better, but not with any speed. What finally made the difference was using warm-to-the-touch water, gently agitating, and waiting for hours. I have found that in order to have milk in an acceptable liquid form for morning coffee - start the previous evening. Warm - not hot, not cold - water, place the appropriate amount of dried milk powder in the container on top of the warm water, agitate gently to start the dissolving process, cover, go to bed, and when you arise the next morning, voila! Liquid milk which can then be put in your coffee, with the remainder going in the refrigerator. With Patience, it WILL Dissolve!

Since I can't find powdered milk at the grocery store (except small packets), I took a chance with this big container on-line. And I'm glad I did as the quality is great, taste is wonderful, it mixes up well and the giant container lasts a long, long time. I'm thoroughly pleased with this purchase and will continue ordering it.

MADE IN USA!!!I’m pleasantly surprised by the taste! And VERY happy with the 2 gallon container it comes with. I’m the type of person that not only buys a product with just the product in mind, but also the packaging it comes in, since I’m paying for that as well anyways. Why buy a product that comes in a type of packaging that can’t be reused and with only ad to the contamination and trash problem, when you can buy the same product for practically the same price, but that comes in a container that will keep being useful to you, after you finish consuming the product??? For why throw away a perfectly good 2 gallon bucket, when you can reuse it for so many household needs and applications?VERY SATISFIED WITH THIS PRODUCT IN MANY WAYS. And it came with an extra fenomenal airtight heavy duty seal lid! I will definitely recommend this product, and buy it again.

When things are difficult this stuff will always be there for you and it’s good nutrition when you need it in a pinch.

This has a long shelf life according to the manufacturer so that’s what it’s doing is sitting on the shelf waiting for a peanut butter hits the fan scenario. It’s hard not to break into it though because I just “LOVE” a big glass of cold milk. Bring along some dipping graham crackers for a soft tasty snack. Hope it’s good when it’s needed.

We have used a similar product and we were disappointed because it had been out of stock for a while. We decided to try this as a replacement. It came today and I made a quart and put it in the refrigerator to chill for a while. It tastes delicious, just like milk you buy from the supermarket. AND it comes with a daily use gamma seal lid so that after you open it it is easy to access and easy to re-seal. No prying the bucket open every time!!!! We will be buying this product again. Note: When it arrives it is sealed with a regular lid for long term storage. The extra gamma seal lid is included to be used after you open it. This is the first company I have purchased from that does not make you buy the gamma seal lid separately.

This milk tastes very good. While it isn't exactly instant (it needs a bit of whisking) it has a good flavor. I prepare the milk in batches, by mixing the milk with a bit of water then adding the rest of the water. In a pinch you can this powdered milk directly to your coffee and whisk it with a fork.When making cakes, muffins, pancakes, etc, mix the milk well into the flour and other dry ingredients, then measure for water instead of milk.If making pudding or custard, whisk the milk so it doesn't clump.I've always kept powdered milk at home, but in these Covid-19 days it's good to not have to worry about going to the store for milk. I was looking for economical shelf stable nonfat dairy and I found it! Comes in a long-term plastic bucket that will last for eternity, and also a short-term "gamma lid" with screw-down cap for easier daily access. I mix it in a 3 quart mixing pitcher and let it chill in a cold refrigerator for a few hours. It tastes exactly like skim milk! Regardless of the no-frills, doomsday-proof packaging, it tastes like real milk, it's almost as economical and comes in an indestructible container you can use to collect water or bones or whatever you rascal end-timers might desire. Three thumbs up!
