Living on a hill means that when the irrigation shuts off, all the water in the pipes runs out of the heads at the bottom of the hill and down the road. With these, you unscrew the top, pull out the filter at the bottom, and insert the check valve replacing the original filter. This means that when you turn the valve on, you get instant spray because the pipe is still full of water. They are made specifically for the Hunter PGP.-ADJ rotors.

It did the trick. Fixed the leaking in our sprinkler head.
