A Chocolate Lover's Dream Drink
This is far better than plain old cocoa and tastes amazing, too, with a full-bodied chocolate flavor that will send you floating dreamily down a river of chocolate. I first tried this at a natural foods expo and was immediately hooked and have been a customer ever since.

Excellent PM caffeine substitute
First off, on it's own this stuff is delicious and I wish it was a common staple of cafes like coffee and tea. Just note that it's a hot-brew-only. You can brew it hot and then cool it and serve cold and it tastes good, but you need to pour boiling water on it and let it steep for 5 minutes (I use a french press) to get the taste.I'm a little sensitive to caffeine, especially if I drink it after 2-3pm. This contains theobromide, not caffeine, which isn't addictive because it isn't a CNS stimulant. So it's a great subtle pick-me-up that won't mess with your sleep or leave you craving more coffee the next day.

Delicious.
Absorbs a lot of water that can't seem to be squeezed out. Make 3 cups to get 2 cups.

My new morning brew!
Much milder than coffee, but I love the chocolate flavor. I brew it in my French press and add cream and it tastes like non-sweet hot cocoa.

Really good!
I had no idea what to expect with this product and when I brewed it it looked like a weak coffee or a dark tea but I poured it and added some coconut milk and a little no calorie sweetener and it was amazing. And my tummy didn’t hurt because it’s not coffee. It absolutely tasted like chocolate but a not a syrupy sweet chocolate. It was fantastic I will keep buying that and I don’t work for the company or anything.

Good, but I prefer the Ghana light roast more
It's worth trying if you're a fan of brewed cacao. I personally prefer the flavor/aroma of the Crio Bru's Ghana Light Roast, but everyone's tastes are different.

I’m hooked!
I don’t tolerate caffeine very well so coffee is out, and black tea isn’t any better. I have been exploring different types of tea with less caffeine for an alternative. But having found Cri Bru Cacao, it’s now my go-to favorite instead of iced tea or coffee. I add non dairy milk and a tiny bit of vanilla sweetener and it’s so good! I’m waiting for the temps to go down before trying it hot and may even try Bailey’s Irish Cream in place of the milk for an evening by the fire. It does provide a little boost of energy, but nothing like a full-on caffeine buzz so if that’s what you need to survive this may not cut it for you.

Great alternative to coffee and for those who prefer a milder brew
I can no longer drink coffee due to a rare coffee allergy. As I preferred milder coffees (such as Starbucks Pike Place), this blend is perfect and a great alternative to tea. I made it according to instructions using a French Press and love it. I don’t throw out the used grounds right away as I often want another cup later on. When I do crave another cup, I add another tbsp of the grounds to those already in the press, add the boiling water and proceed as usual. Although cacao has many health benefits, you can consume too much of a good thing. Two cups is okay for me but three cups got my tummy all rumbly after an hour or so even though I drank it a few hours after the second cup. (Oops).

Doubled in Price??
This was good, but I can't believe the price hike! I found this product from a facebook ad, and I guess they spent too much on marketing and they are trying to make up for it. The same size organic dutch cocoa is less than half the price. I will not be re-buying at this cost. Since I got used to the taste and I quite liked it as a nice alternative to coffee, I will start using cocoa powder mixed with hot water or cold milk. I guess thank you Criobrew for making me realize that this is good :) I guess I could even 'roast' it for that missing coffee-like taste the same way I would roast almonds. If you are like me and coffee gives you acid reflex, Splurge on Dutch cocoa. It's PH balanced and much cheaper than this. I was a bit surprised at the size, for a reference it's about half of the size of a pound of Starbucks coffee, so about 4x as expensive. Tastes good though. A bit watery if you are used to string coffee. I used to mix it with Dutch cocoa. Now I will just have the cocoa.

Not worth it.
This is terrible. Made in a French press, which I know very well how to use, steeped for recommended amount of time, watery garbage. Next time double the amount and wayyyyy longer steep time and it was maybe borderline decent at best. But at that rate, the price is absolutely disgusting. Just buy some raw cacao powder instead of this dumb gimmick.

It's amazing.
The media could not be loaded. LOVE THIS STUFF!! My mind is BLOWN that I'm just finding out about the benefits of brewed cacao just now!! Incredible on its own, but also just as amazing with coffee!! I'll be back... ;)

Different, but good
I’m not a huge coffee drinker so bitter drinks are a bit of an acquired taste. But if your into less fruity tasting hot drinks this was pretty good. Add some sugar and the chocolate flavour comes out nicely. Bag smells amazing
