These over the door hangers are just right for me to hang over my sliding shower doors. They work just as well on regular closet doors as too. The brass finish adds a bit of flair to my decor. I especially like that there are two areas in which to place items PER HOOK! So instead of just 5 hooks there really are 10 slots. Plus you receive 2 hanger so there is a total of 20! I use the upper hooks for smaller items like face-masks or ladies intimate apparel and use the lower racks to hold items that are on a clothes hanger. I use mine mostly to finish air-drying clothing that has come out of the dryer and is still damp or hand-washed items of clothing. During the winter this helps add moisture to the room. I would buy these again and I recommend purchasing these. NOTE: You do have to assemble these and it can be a bit tricky at first. But instead of trying to tighten the screw to the hook, (screw driver included), I found it easier to just poke the screw in the hole and twist the hook into place.

I purchased this door hanger for use in a bathroom. It fits well over the door, hangs low enough for a five foot tall person to reach, and is sturdy enough to hold towels, PJs and robes. Some assembly was required, and took less than ten minutes to put together. I used the extra felt pads that were included to pad the hanger so it doesn't scratch the door. I'm happy with this purchase.

This holds a lot of weight! We put this over a door into our laundry room for overflow diaper bags, work bags, backpacks, etc and it is perfect. I did not screw it in or anything and it stays right in place and even has bumpers to prevent damage to the door, which I had never seen before. A great addition to create extra storage.

Thought I was getting something ready to hang over door top - but I had to install two of the hooks and the hangers (presumably because of packaging economy) and the lip over the top of the door is so small the whole thing kept popping off the door. First time ever I have had to actually screw one of these into the top of the door! I have 3 other designs of this type over door hanger and never had to assemble nor permanently attach it to the door top. It may have stated this all somewhere in the product description, but honestly I just went by the dimensions and photo - thought it was a pretty basic standard ready-to-use design. Wrong. This required ladder and electric drill for installation.

I purchased these for my pre-teen's bedroom doors. They are perfect for anyone who doesn't want to damage a door with a permanent hook or those that may be renting. They hold everything from towels to heavy backpacks without banging on the door when the door opens/closes. They have foam pieces against the door that prevent any noise. I only wish they were a little longer as they are a bit too high for the kids to reach, however they will grow into them.
