I chose these Chia seeds because they come if a plastic container with a screw top, as opposed to most other brands that come in bags. I believe that this results in fresher seeds and easier to handle and store. I put these in my smoothies when I want to add some fiber and Omega-3 Fatty Acids. It can add a little off taste if you add a lid so I usually keep it down to about a half of the recommended serving (1 tablespoon).
