10+ yrs and still worth it.
It's not used every day but when I need it, it's reliable. My favorite thing is the secondary function to twist wirenuts tight.

Screw falls out
I lost my Ideal reamer after having it for years, I loved that you can take it out and put it in a drill if you're going to be using it a lot and I really liked the wire nut twister on the handle.I bought this one right away after Iost my other and only got to use it 2-3 times before the screw and blade fell out of it. While that sucks, I wouldn't have been too upset if I could find a replacement, but it's looking like they want you to buy a whole new reamer instead.I'm not sure if the klein blades (that come with replacemet screws) would work with this reamer or not, but why doesn't IDEAL offer something similar? Looks like I'll just have to go with a Klein reamer from now on.

Deburring tool
Really good tool, except the Deburring part sucks because they just fell out someplace on the job I am at and I will never be able to find them. I don’t even know how they even fell out so easily and I never even noticed. Haven’t even had it a month.

Bad design
This tool has a square head not a flat head like you need so it can tighten any size coupling that doesn't take 3/8

Four Stars
Nice reamer, just the tip comes off a rather bit too easy.

wouldnt buy again
Had for 2 years, daily use. the Tip wears pretty easy, (most of their hand tool, with the exception of their strippers are sub par quality. ive had the grips come loose, poor fitment, tips as good as other brands) and the screw that hold the blade would keep coming loose. today i finally lost both. time to find another brand to go with

After 2 years it's still the best
Recently I did some shopping for a pipe reamer and I was quickly reminded what a nightmare picking one could be. In the end once again I came to the same 3 answer I did before. Klein Ideal and Greenlee. To me and quite a few opinions agree the Klein and Greenlee are identical twins with different colors. Bothe are great choices, but then comes Ideal. This is a reamer like no other and has no equal. The handle is slim and feels great in my small hands. The end of the handle has a wire nut wrench in it. I use it all the time to skip having to finish up with linemans. Now once I'm done I'm done thanks to the wireq nut wrench.. once you feel this handle in your hand you'll quickly realize how good it feels in your hand. The yellow color is bright and crisp the cushion grip is soft and tacky give you a firm hold on the reamer. Now for the meat and metal of this reamer the detachable power head reamer. To u knowledge there is only 2 reamers that come with detachable power heads. Ideal and Southwire. Of the 2 this Ideal reamer is far superior. Take note this reamer head is identical to the southwire reamer head. I have both and I can switch both heads with eighter handle. They're exactly the same. So much so that you can replace southwire blades with blades for this reamer. Hint hint for southwire owners. One big difference in the 2 reamers is the handle head connection. The Ideal handle and head fit together very well and tight. There is no play in the joint. Southwire on the other hand has a little bit of a loose handle that you can feel when you start to twist. After 2 years and now owning 3 reamers Ideal Southwire and Greenlee. I still love this one the most. It the one I use the most. I just love this reamer. The only complaint is the same for almost all reamers but Klein where they fail to line the blade and screwdriver up. The new models like this one solve that problem with the use of the square bit instead of a slot bit. That pretty much makes this the perfect reamer. Now the only disadvantage is the outrageous price. I paid 26 dollars for mine and the only difference is the screwdriver tip, but that change shouldn't double the price.

Not half bad.
Doesn’t work as well as my friends greenlee. But maybe it needs to be worked in. Kind of grabby if you know what I mean.

Works but not as good as kleins
It gets dull quickly but still works.
