Is not even that soft, and stinks so much.

It smelled odd when I received it and I had to wash it a few times, (and lay it out in the sun) to eliminate the (chemical) smell. Otherwise, I love it, but I wish I had bought a bigger one, because this one barely covers my legs when I'm in my recliner. Hey, but that's my fault. Be careful of the dimensions of things you order, folks.

As others have said, this is a great value for 100% Irish wool. It puts any synthetic blanket to shame for a few dollars more and is not itchy to me even on bare skin. The color is as pictured and it is plenty soft with enough size to wrap-up in. There was no barn smell on mine as another reviewer spoke of. Hand wash in cold water or gentle cycle and hang on a rack to dry or alternatively lay to dry on good towels - no need to dry clean. Not the thickest but plenty warm. Would pay a lot more for a thicker blanket of this quality. My son and girlfriend were thrilled with their Christmas gifts. Finally, it came directly from County Cork in Ireland with a wonderful map of Ireland inside. You probably should allow for 4 weeks for delivery due to international shipping, but mine came in about 2 weeks at the height of the season.

This is just simply beautiful and it will be kept/used for special occasions.

I love this blanket !! So warm and soft. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that a small section, about the size of a dime started to unravel . I only use it on my bed as a top cover so it didn't have rough usage . I have to pay someone to fix it which is disappointing .

Bought this throw blanket for my mother who is a senior. She loves it. She said its warm, super soft, and not too heavy on her.

I was blown away with how beautiful this throw is. Just gorgeous. Beautiful color, excellent craftsmanship, so soft and warm. A littlepiece of Ireland. Highly recommend. Will be buying another one soon.

It is a beautiful blanket, great quality. Wool has healing power. I recommend anything that is made of 100 % wool. This blanket is absolutely amazing!
