Rubie's Costume Co Satin Cape 3/4 Length Costume

I chose this particular cape because of the velcro neck closure. I did not want one with ties. I have a daughter who loves to play dress up as different characters and I found this cape to be perfect. It is made for an adult, but she loved it being long and big enough to drape up in. The material is not hugely thick, but it is a perfect feel to me personally. The company is also very nice and eager to work with their customers to make sure the experience is the best possible. I would recommend this cape for anyone who wants to have a little make believe fun.

My cape arrived in perfect condition in good packaging and with very few wrinkles. The material is exactly what you would expect for a black "satin" Halloween costume cape and the price was lower than the Halloween stories. It has a very good collar on it making it more of a Dracula cape rather than a witches cape.

Embarrassingly enough, I purchased this cape for $9.98..and it gets worse: shipping was an additional $7.99. Ah, the lengths of which a girl will go through to complete a costume and try to look exceptional. This cape was cheaply made--seams are coming undone at all ends-- and the material is rather transparent. There is stiff material at the seams of the shoulders on the cape, causing a very broad look, which looks VERY odd for those with slender shoulders, as it puffs up dramatically and cannot be contained. The collar, which is my mistake for over looking, sticks straight up and remains immobile, feeling as though cardboard was shoved beneath the material. Perhaps a good cape for a very cheap vampire costume for a child, but not so much as an adult superhero. Seems like the only ass kicking I'll be doing is myself.

I bought this for a Halloween costume. It is cheaply made, but it was the quality that I expected and that I paid for. It didn't tear or fall apart by any means. I like the fact that I was able to choose whether the collar was up or down. It fit as expected and I am glad I got it, it made a very nice touch to my costume!
