Every LP release from J Geils Band on the Atlantic label. Years 1970-1979.Ten albums at a good price. No complaints.

Classic albums! The discs of Volume One sound fantastic! Unfortunately, I deducted one star because the discs on Volume Two have been remastered too loudly which is common practice in the age of the loudness wars. Also, they included the best of which includes repeat songs instead of the album Sanctuary. Otherwise it's a five star collection.

The music is great, and the deal is even better!

Bloodshot, Full House Live and Blow Your Face Out Live is all you need and all you need to know before they sold out and went top 40 pop and probably got rich in the process. The 3 aforementioned albums are the heat. Truck stop greasy R&B cranked up to 11. First I Look at the Purse and House Party just kill. The riffs that drive those 2 songs are King Kong with a sledgehammer solid. If you dont bang your head and stomp your feet to those 2 songs, you aint gotta pulse.
