The Metal Earth Star Wars Force Awakens Poe Dameron's X-Wing Fighter 3D Metal Model Kit is an unassembled hobby model designed for ages 14 and up. It features two metal sheets that require no glue or solder, allowing for easy assembly with just tweezers. The finished model measures 2.5x4x4 inches and showcases highly detailed etching, making it a perfect collectible for Star Wars fans.

As a beginner, totally doable
Very cool little kit. Yes this is a bit challenging, but as someone who has never done one before or any other model kit like this, I thought it wasn't too much. Patience is the key here and the instructions are very clear and simple.I took my time and completed it after about 8 hours total over the course of a month. I just did a section at a time and enjoyed myself. Now I have a cool little X Wing to go on the shelf.

Best Metal Earth model yet.
This wasn't a very difficult model for me. I wouldn't advise it for first time metal earthers, but anyone with a little experience should be able to handle it just fine. It was about the same difficulty as the original x wing, but it's bigger and better. The shape and details look awesome. The textures look great. I've done the original x wing, special forces tie, millenium falcon, snowspeeder, slave 1, and now this, and this model is my favorite by far.A bit of advice. Use tweezers for the tabs and to bend small pieces. Use highlighters and pens to bend the circular wing jets. Precision screwdrivers work well for the blaster cylinders.

I love this thing
I love this thing. That said, it is NOT EASY AT ALL. I enjoy difficult puzzles, I'm that bozo who loved putting together that Ravensburger 3000 piece puzzle of Sunday on La Grande Jatte over 9 months, so keep that in mind. This was extremely difficult, largely because the picture wasn't the best in regards to which wing goes where in what direction, and it MOST DEFINITELY makes a difference- I had to undo the wings and put them back together correctly, which was not fun. Good for people who like puzzles, not for people looking for an easy build. I used two pairs of needle-nosed pliers to really make sure things were secure, one pair just didn't cut it for me. Aside fromthe slightly bent fiddly things at the end of each wing, it looks like the picture!

This is a great model from Metal Earth. I love their Star Wars line of models and this one is great and easy to put together. I recommend this model to anyone who like Star Wars and Metal Earth...

All of the metal earth series are great. These are labelled 14+ and you should definitely take that into consideration. These can be quite tough and time consuming to put together and you will need to buy needle nose pliers to put these together

I highly recommend a small set of screwdrivers and tweezers
Having built one of Metal Earth air planes previously, I must say that this Poe's X Wing was a difficult build. Some of the components were so small that they broke when trying to remove them from the sheet. I also broke another piece since it was a perforated at the folding seam... I must have flexed it one too many times.Either way, I would buy this again but only if I can spend a day or two putting it together. I highly recommend a small set of screwdrivers and tweezers. And if you have the same luck as me, then some glue would be helpful.

Not for beginners
Let me just say, after doing pretty much all of the Star Wars models by metal earth, this was one of the more challenging for me... I would say if you have already done a few and are proficient with how the metal bends and stuff like that then you can probably manage this one with patience... but if you are starting with this one I would maybe suggest to start with Darth Vader’s tie fighter, and move up from there.

Fun build
As my first build ever, it was quite fun! The pieces locked well together, the process was really fun. Be careful with the weapon parts as they are quite fragile, but otherwise it was a fun time. Would definitely order Bandai models again

Fiddly fun!
First time building a model and really enjoyed it! Was difficult to begin with (especially that pesky step 1) but by the end I really got the hang of it. I will definitely be trying out some of their other models.
