SnazarooFace Paint Palette Kit, Rainbow

I ordered several kits for a town party, but none of them got used up. They will cover a lot of faces. Easy to use and good coverage.

Did A LOT of research re: water-based/oil-based, paints/pens, etc. etc. SO confusing. Decided I needed water-based just for ease of removal. This brand name kept popping up with positive reviews as I researched and now I know why. They worked out great, stayed put for the most part with some powder setting, and came off easily. Used on a camping trip with not a lot of facilities and I couldn't have chosen better.

Pros: Dry watercolor like cakes have a long shelf life & are easy to activate with water.Easy to wash off.Doesn't stain clothes.A little of this goes a long way. It doesn't look like much. But you could do a lot of faces with this package.Non greasy feel & doesn't crack around skin folds (like mouth or eye creases.)Cons: Included sponge is not good. (Buy a multipack of sponges at Walmart near the make up for $1)We bought this for single color coverage of our faces, as our family dressed up as the emotions from Inside Out. It was nearly impossible to get smooth, even coverage. As we tried to apply more paint in a second coat, it would just pull some of the first coat off. --This stuff is best for kids face painting.I might buy it again just because it is easy to clean up and comfortable to wear. But definitely wouldn't recommend if you want to look like the Hulk or a smurf.

I needed some face paint for my 4-year-old's Halloween costume. The only make-up I could find in stores was rated for 8yo+, or were cream makeup, which I wasn't keen on using. When in doubt, check Amazon. SO glad I did. This face paint is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Water activated, so no greasy feel. Dried completely, so though my son wiped it off over the course of the evening, it wasn't messy. A little goes a long way, so this kit should last a long time. Washed off easily. In short, perfect for what we needed.Reading other reviewer complaints about the paints being "dry" . . . Be aware that each little pot of color has a plastic film over it that needs to be removed before you wet the paint. And you do need to wet the paint, like a watercolor. It only takes a little bit of water to get a nice consistency of paint. I kept these little pieces of plastic to replace when I was finished in order to keep the colors clean in their pots.Also, be sure to order the right collection of colors. I see that some of the reviews say that the kits are missing colors. Not all kits have all the colors. I ordered the “Halloween” color collection, and it has a variety of colors, as well as an empty spot where you can blend your own color.Overall, I cannot recommend this product highly enough for parents who want an easy, kid-friendly face paint for Halloween, parties, and make-believe fun.

Snazaroo is a great face paint, safe for kids skin. Please consider painting faces with this paint as it is non-toxic. I paint faces professionally and this is a great paint for your party.

I used this kit with the addition of a larger container of grass green. I thought I would need more, but this paint covers really well and I have plenty left. Looks like I barely touched it. It dries and creases a bit, but that is better than smearing all over clothing in my opinion. I have sensitive skin and this didn’t cause any irritation. The green left some yellow staining behind but I was able to get it off with mild face wash and a little coconut oil.

I had never done face painting before but wanted to paint faces at my 3 year old son's lion-themed birthday party. The colors were bright and vibrant and a little color goes a long way so the colors will last a long time. The sponge is great for applying an all-over color. The brush is great for the details. The sponge well can be used for water and then there is an empty well for mixing colors. My son had fun painting Mom's face too and asks often to paint faces just for fun. The colors stay until washed off and it comes off easily and completely with water or baby wipes. I recommend this kit to anyone interested in body and face painting. I have tried other brands like the ones sold around Halloween in craft shops and there is no comparison. Go with this kit and you will not be disappointed!!!UPDATE: Over a year later and after many faces painted I am just now running out of white (did some phantom of the opera's). Ready to place an order for a new kit! Haven't found anything better than this stuff. I would not risk trying any other brand. The colors do fall out of their wells rather easily if it's turned upside down and that may be what is happening with so many comments of missing colors. Real shame, it's great stuff! I will take a chance and definitely order again and again.

My 8-year-old granddaughter is happy with it, and that's the main thing. She painted her sister's and cousin's faces as well as her own on Christmas afternoon. However, I was not impressed for the price. Just be aware that (1) there's only a small supply of each paint color--a disk about the size and thickness of a quarter, (2) one brush with many colors means smeary colors, and (3) the paints fall out of the tray during shipping. In fact, I'd almost bet that the reviewer who said she had no black paint was victim to this. I thought I had no yellow--found it in the bottom of the box, well sprinkled with bits of other colors.
