4-in-1 Gaiter, Hood, Balaclava Face Mask, Neck Warmer with Insulated Fleece

Exactly what I was looking for. Nothing complicated, just something I could use in place of a scarf that would also do triple duty as a hood and a balaclava. It does all of these things perfectly. The weight of the material is great - not too heavy, not too light. I’m an avid, year ‘round wilderness backpacker, and most of my gear needs to be multi-purpose when possible. This will allow me to forgo packing a toboggan (knit hat) and a scarf and rests nicely around the inner neck of my technical jackets. The seller seems to be attentive and engaged. I recommend them.

I spend a lot of time in the cold (outdoors in MN). I have used this balaclava for overnight camping and hiking, temps from 15F to 30F and a stiff breeze. It performed great. When I was hot from hiking, I could loosen it, and when I got cold, I could tighten it up. When it got really cold, I could wear another hat underneath, but it really wasn't that necessary. I slept with it on and cinched it so it covered my mouth -- it fit more loosely than a neck gator, so I didn't feel the frost buildup, which helped me sleep. It blocks the wind really well, all the way to the neckline. So, this eliminates the need for a separate hat and neck gator. It's not very heavy fleece, but it does the job. I'm actually going to buy a few more to have around.

I have several versions/brands of this type of garment and I like them all.I work outside all the time and like to be outside on my days off too.The concept of covering your neck from the snow and wind at 2:30 in the morning while working in the high desert seems to be a prudent idea.A few times I have had two layers of these on and it got me through the shift or made a ride home on an ATV merely uncomfortable, rather than miserable.They are relatively inexpensive and one should keep a couple of these around if they have to be outside.The Whirlpool does wash them quite easily.

This is a cool and easy thing to put on if your wearing a sweater or jacket without a hood. Looks good as it blends especially if your wearing the same color or material. Its washable, warm, and breathable. Perfect for hiking, running, or to add when you go to the snow as it keeps your head super warm!

I got this for my husband as an alternative to fleece watch caps. The caps press his ears into the arms of his glasses, which becomes painful. He loves this hood! It keeps ears and head warm, but is loose fitting and comfortable. It can be slipped on and off, while staying in place for neck warmth. I want to order him another one in another color, Love It!!

This has been on of my favorite purchases. I'm a big guy, 6'3 270, with a big bald head. This thing was perfect for my trip to Iceland. Wore it skiing, walking around town, and trekking windy glaciers (where they film the scenes north of the wall in Game of Thrones). Was always warm. My girlfriend, quite a bit smaller than me also wore it. Need to buy another for her.The adjustability makes this thing great for all head sizes

Does what it says, is extremely adjustable, and you can even breath through it. Awesome for sleeping at night with a rectangular sleeping bag or sleeping quilt outdoors. Holds a beanie in place! Can also wear it as a good, etc., when our and about. I would never want to be without this during the cold seasons.

This is not fleece. It is cheaply made, stiff material that feels like dollar store felt. It does not bend around my face as it should. Total waste of money.
