DISAPPOINTING!
I have been eating matzah my entire life. That's a long time. When a shipper doesn't care enough about his product to prevent it from being crushed in hundreds of pieces, then I feel that he doesn't care about the quality. Matzah is a fragile product and easily breaks. Holding it for extended periods of time in a warehouse tends to make the product go stale. I ordered matzah from Amazon in the past and did not have these issues. You asked so I am sorry to tell you the truth even though it might hurt. I would not order this product again.

Matzo
I've been enjoying these since I was a child. My mother used to buy this product in the supermarket. I really don't know what happened to the quality but the box I got from Amazon along with the last one I purchased from the store had burnt edges: the taste was horrid!! I ended up putting them both in the trash. I'm giving 4 stars. Hopefully what ever is going on with the quality control of this product will be corrected - not the seller fault!

This is an update from an earlier review. I decided it's OK. I'm just not used to so much salt (and I do like salt). The reason I wrote the negative review below is that I tried it the same day we had just finished up a box of super fresh hand made matzohs and there is just no comparison. I was surprised at the disappointment because we've been enjoying Manishewitz products our whole lives. It's alright but not wonderful. Maybe it pays to get things freshly baked for Passover? ORIGINAL REVIEW: The box is dated for more than 6 months in the future; so it should be good. Hey, I've been eating matsa for many decades and I've never before tasted one I didn't like. The taste is stale. I don't know why, but I find it inedible. Also, although I like salt, the salt on these is way too strong. Very disappointed.

Matzo in small pieces
The matzo was of course fine, but it was disappointing that only a few of the pieces were in one piece. It seems clear that it is a challenging product to transport around. However, knowing that, one would think that special care would be taken to treat it carefully, so it all doesn't end up as matzo farfel!
