Akebono is the standard.
Best brake pads on the market bar none.Akebono really stands out in terms of their quality and value.I used to be just fine with my budget store brand brake kits that would last me 30'000 miles and would wreak havoc on their paired rotors.I have been using Akebono pads for just about 6 years on all of my daily's and they have never disappointed, they are gentle on rotors, quieter than quiet, and smooth as butter. They came with all of the included hardware, and I find they pair well with Centric Rotors on my Honda's and Toyota's seeing as my Tundra has 60'000 miles on the front pads and is barely hitting the squeaker tab.Add to the fact that Akebono is OEM on most cars to boot. Stopping power is nice and seamless, brake dust is practically non existent, and they LAST. What extra coin you're spending, pays off tenfold over the duralasts, brake selects, and car quests of the world.Don't settle when it comes to brakes.

Quite expensive but so far so good
Easy to install and I like it comes with the springs so the pads can be "open" if not in brake position. There is still dust but I feel it's much less than the previous pad I had. Overall I like the quality and the brake now is much better than before.

Honda CRV 2015 fits perfectly
I just bought these brake pads and installed them on Honda Crv 2015 and they are perfect fit. It was super easy to put them on and I like you get all new brackets with pads. Only thing I didn’t like is that there was no grease included for breaks but I did have packs from previous brake pads so I use that. After installing breaks and first drive there was no noise squeaking or grinding.I gave them 5 stars now and I will update my review after I drive some time and I can tell more about durability and longevity

Scotty Kilmer approved. Very quiet and solid brake feel - but Amazon Prime shipping was terrible
Initial review (< 5 miles driven):Overall, the Akebono brake feels solid and it is very quiet. I will have to put a lot more miles on them before writing a meaningful review. I had previously replaced the front brake pads 3 times using Honda OEM, but this time, I wanted to try non-OEM as the last pads only lasted for 25K miles. (The first pads, from the factory, lasted for 58K miles, the second pads lasted for 50K miles, but for some reason, the third pads didn't last as long.)Will see if Scotty Kilmer is right about Akebono brakes.Fit and install:I bought ACT1089A for a 3rd gen Honda Odyssey. It was a perfect fit. No complains here. Akebono design is a bit different from that of Honda OEM in that the kit comes with 4 clips that act like "springs" to spread the pads. I had not seen this before, but it makes sense. The "springs" are basically pushing the pads away from the rotors. Perhaps that will make them last longer? I am not sure. Some reviewers have pointed out that the kit doesn't come with enough grease. While it is true that the Honda OEM kit comes with a larger packet of grease, what the Akebono includes in the kit is more than enough to do the job. If you need more, you are using too much.Shipping:This is where Amazon completely dropped the ball and I eventually bought the kit from Walmart. I ordered the kit using Amazon Prime. It said it would be delivered the next day. It didn't. I received a notice that it was delayed. Then received another notice that if I didn't receive it by a certain day, come back and ask for a refund. Well, it was never delivered and the status simply read "your package may be lost." This had never happened before in my 20+ years of being a Prime member, but there is always the first time.I asked for a replacement as I still needed the brakes. To my surprise, the replacement order was delayed, then eventually got lost again. I presume there must have been a systematic glitch for this to happen twice back to back. I contacted an associate who didn't have any additional info and offered if I would want a replacement to the replacement. I asked for a refund and bought them from Walmart (I am not a Walmart+ customer, but Walmart offered free shipping for any orders greater than $35 and the Walmart price was identical to that of Amazon's.)

Work well, relatively easy to install, include new springs and clips
They work well and install relatively easily. When they heat up, you can smell them, but that might just be them breaking in. They stop well. Overall, I am very pleased with these pads.
