Best set of measuring spoon I’ve ever had.
These are absolutely wonderful measuring spoons. They actually fit inside the spice jars so you don’t make a mess when you use them.

Nice to have
A wonderful addition to all my bread making bowls and pans and supplies. Very well designed and made. Will last a lifetime. Not strictly speaking necessary but wouldn’t want to give it up.

Couldn't live without 'em!
I received these originally as a Christmas gift, but I love these measuring spoons so much I bought a second set. And am considering purchasing a third set! I am CONSTANTLY using them and then they are in the dishwasher dirty and I need a clean one! These are very well made, heavy, quality, well-finished spoons. They feel good in my hands. They DO work well in spice jars, and are easy to level off for baking. As for calibration... I'm not a laboratory equipped to do that, but if these spoons are off, then so are most other measuring spoons out there! I have a set of MIU spice measuring spoons and they appear to measure the same as these spoons do. Likewise for my KitchenAid spoons and a really old tablespoon from my mom and a set of cheapo plastic spoons. So I personally would not worry overmuch about accuracy. If anyone IS worried, a quality gram scale might be a better choice. Now, there is one slight disadvantage to these spoons... the rectangular shape, while absolutely fine for spices and dry measures, is a little tougher to get stickier substances out of. A tablespoon of coconut oil will slide on out of a regular bowl spoon easier than it will come out of one of these rectangular shaped bowls. So this is something to consider depending on your measuring needs.Want a tablespoon of peanut butter? Fine... but it's gonna be harder to lick the spoon clean! For that reason, I recently bought a set of MIU spice measuring spoons with rounded oval bowls. They are also nice quality, but I don't feel they are quite as well finished as this set by RSVP. They are, however, more easily lickable.Still, I find myself reaching for the RSVP spoons more often than not.Update 5.17.2010I DID buy myself a third set, and frankly, am now considering a fourth set! I'd like the fourth set to be devoted to measuring out liquid nutrients for my Aerogardens. The printing of the volume in milileters on each teaspoon is very useful for that purpose. It's sad... I have a whole bin in my utensil drawer devoted to these specific spoons. Other measuring spoons go in a separate bin, as I use these the most still! I never seem to have enough measuring spoons!

This is perfect for yeast.
If you buy your yeast in jars this is a great way to measure. It is a nice weight and cleans very well. I bought another on it is so good.

Feel heavy. Good quality.
By the weight of them it feels like these will last and fit into spice jars nicely. Happy purchase.

Pretty good overall
These spoons are great! They are accurate, easy to level off, and have just the right amount of heft (not too heavy or light). Just throw out the chain hooking them together and store the spoons separated in a small box in your drawer. These spoons are mirror polished 18/8 stainless steel. The narrow handle makes them very nice to fit into a duel opening spice cap. I also really like the rounded shape. All of the spoons, even the tablespoon, fit great into a 6 oz paragon glass jar with a 53 mm lid (google it, they are available for purchase also Pioneer woman has some expensive jars that fit too). Too many people have tiny spice jar openings like spice islands and McCormick’s glass bottles and they are such a pain to deal with. I even found a set that fit into these tiny spice jars, but the heads become so wonky that scooping out the spices is a major pain.Pros:-mirror polished-pretty well balanced-super accurate-heavy duty/never bending-narrow handles for easier scooping in spice jarsCons:-NO HALF TABLESPOON! What the heck is that about? You can’t even buy it a la carte like their other spoons.-1/2 Tablespoon is ONLY available in the “odd” set that contains a useless 2/3 teaspoon and another 1/8 teaspoon. What am I supposed to do with another 1/8 teaspoon?-no 3/4 teaspoon size available at all with a rounded head (but they have it for their retangle head spoons).-it would be nice if the handles were just as comfortable as CIA’s measuring spoon handles. But this set is at least accurate while CIA’s is way off. The handles on these are only slightly less comfortable than CIA’s.All together there are some very strange decisions made by the measuring spoon design team. I hope they decide to fix it someday. It makes no sense to me whatsoever.

Very good material.
I liked the feel of the spoon and saves me from searching for two measuring spoons. Design flaw: it needs to have a hole in the handle as I hang up my utensils with small command hook inside my cupboard. Time saver.

At last, an accurate set of measures
I hunted all over Amazon, but every set of measures was wildly inaccurate. I expected the worse with this latest set, but, no: measuring liquid from a medical thermometer, all measures in this set were spot on.Which begs the question why was it so hard to find measures that do the job they are supposed to do? And why is Amazon allowings so many measuring products to be sold that are not fit for purpose?
