ParkPower +++++
The initial unit purchased from West Marine did not come with the insulated compartment. West Marine said they could not order one and did not know if it was even available with the insulating compartment. So I went home and got on the Amazon.com website. The rest as they say is history. I completed the installation, which was replacing a 25 year old unit, with ease. We have just returned home from a six week RV vacation cross country. No problems whatsoever. I also like the twist cover instead of the threaded cover, much easier and quicker to connect and disconnect without cross threading!

No metal threads. Pretty and shiney. Questionable durability.
Nice plug but was hoping for metal threads. The plastic versions keep cross threading and stripping. Sadly this version still has plastic threads. Little pricey for no improvement. Still keeping, hope it will hold up better than cheaper versions.

Five Stars
A must have with the Marinco power cord. Really well made.
