Surprised me!
Set up was easy as long as you don't hurry. Took me about 20 minutes using the instruction sheet. Instructions were adequate, but could be better. One thing you have to remember, consider the weight of clothing you will be hanging on the horizontal poles. The vertical tension poles have to be snug enough against the floor and ceiling to accommodate the weight of the clothing. When I first set it up, I thought the tension poles where snug enough. But, as I added my hanging clothing, the weight of the clothing pulled the tension poles down a little, which made it loose and all the poles and clothing came tumbling down. I set it up again but this time made the tension poles from floor to ceiling more snug than the previous fit. Voila! I am very surprised at the large amount of clothing it holds. I try to hang the heavier things on the ends and the lighter things in the middle so that the horizontal bar will stay straight and not bend. I don't know how much weight the horizontal bars can withstand without bending. I am very happy with my portable indoor garment rack!I am very glad I bought this product.

Great product but be prepared to DIY to make them stay up.
You will need to secure these poles to the ceiling to hold them steady!Otherwise these are completely useless and will continuously fall down even with very little weight or pressure.I added 3 screws in the ceiling for each pole and wrapped coated copper wire around to secure them.

Just what I needed
I needed to create a closet where I did not have one. I looked at several systems and the product reviews and pictures for this one are why I bought it. It was very easy to assemble and does exactly what I needed. Some reviewers said their system collapsed. I made sure to not overload it, to put it together evenly and straight - I used a level to make sure the poles were not leaning. I love what this has done for my space. I was able to condense two armoires of clothes into this system. I bought curtain rods and hangers made for mounting to the ceiling and hung curtains to hide the clothes. I could not be happier and it is a perfect fix for a small space where big and bulky furniture is not an option.

It could've been better
I had a closet with no bar in it so i really needed to buy one of these. It was nice to have two horizontal clothing rods i'm pretty tall so i could comfortably fit a lot of clothes in reach. The assembly was easy enough but the horizontal rods sagged. They were made out of two bars and they sagged in the center where the two bars met. I taped over where the bars met because I was sure it'd fall apart without it. 6 months later no problem no break but I don't exactly regret taping it either. An after just 6 months of these bars I took them down and saw the rubber pads had peeled paint off the ceiling! That's bad. If you have this please put cardboard between the rubber pads and the ceiling/floor. And use masking tape on any suspicious sagging. Or just use it in a garage or basement where you don't worry about leaving marks. Or maybe just buy something else.

Well after installing and filling with clothes it fell on ...
Well after installing and filling with clothes it fell on me once. So when I set the poles back up the second time I decided not to level them, I tilted them back just a bit and that seemed to do the trick so far. Im still alittle leary so Ive been real careful when taking clothes off or putting back up. And on a side note I have a vaulted ceiling so that might have a play in how well the poles stick to the ceiling.

Amazing
Extremely convenient. No damage to walls. Full of clothes and is sturdy enough that they have not come tumbling down. I'm extremely happy with the product. Takes about 5-10 minutes to put up and easy to take down and move. Which is good for someone who moves too frequently. Worth it.

Quick and easy to assemble
Quick and easy to assemble. I used it inside my closet where I broke the wooden rod that held A LOT of clothes. It was a sign that I needed to go through some clothing and toss out things I no longer wore. I removed a shelf from my closet (which was difficult to store things on anyway) and installed this garnet rack, and it provided the space I needed and made my closet become more organized.

Maybe, we'll see.
Four star for now. Will see if it gets lowered after clothes have been on it awhile.First, it came without the side hanger shown in the photo, but a weird rod that clamps on, but doesn't stay extended was included. It doesn't ahow up anywhere in the instructions and we've not been able to figure out what it does. All four clamps were the same size, which was fine for the lower rack, but they were way too big for the upper rack.We wrapped duck tape Around the top, slid clamp on, then taped under the clamp. The next morning, the weight of the clothes pulled the rods down and shifted the tape.Added another layer of tape, slid clamp back in place and tightened as much as possible, and doubled the tape at the bottom. Will see if it makes it through the day.

Goldcart, Broken Heart
It's pretty sturdy most of the time - can hold quite a lot but then it fell the other day. Probably because my girlfriend ended up putting all her clothes on it as well. It was supposed to be for just me. I just wanted my own space. And now we are broken up.Other than that it's great... so I took off a star. If you don't a require a loving and fulfilling life then would highly recommend it to you.

Ease to essembly
This is actually the second rail we have purchased however I didn’t realise this wasn’t the same make, in saying that this one was 100 times quicker to essemble to the point where we did not need the instructions! My only 2 criticism are (& they don’t outweigh the plus points)The clamps for the hanging bars could do with being able to tighten/ adjust more, as I personally needed the top set to be as close to the ceiling as possible for our use we have put these on the extending bar but because these are alighting smaller we have not been able to securely tighten these...&I thought as in picture 3 this came with an additional bit to hang ties etc on however it doesn’t which is a shame but I’m still giving 5 stars.

Not that great
I think depending on the width you fold this out at (as in how wide you set it up) it will vary greatly into its sturdiness.I swapped out the poles that go side to side with some old extendable shower curtains that are a bit prettier and to be honest - it was a game changer for how sturdy it was.I also drilled a hole to screw in the 'springs' so they didn't compress under weight thus making it ping out.I did also accidently put this through my ceiling...But with a few minor modifications its great - I just don't think its worth the money without a few tweaks to the design.Perfect if you don't want to put up a lot though.

No brainer
This truley is a great product. The rails are; strong; durable; and easy to assemble. After putting the first together, others took under 5 minutes to fully assemble and position where I wanted them to be. Being able to hang clothes on top of each other is so much more space efficient than my old free standing rails, where the two layers only offset slightly and so cloths kept clashing. This rally has almost doubled the amount of clothing I can fit in the same space. One tip, position the hooks for each level opposite to each other (top level facing away, and bottom towards you) this makes it even easier to access both levels of clothes.
