Wolo(260-2T) Mini But Loud Disc Horn - 12 Volt, Black Finish

I installed this on an antique motorcycle. Originally the bike didn't have any horn, you had to buy a handlebar mounted squeeze-bulb type horn. This is small, loud, and seems to be well made. It attached very easily and works without needing a relay.

I wanted to replace the very weak stock horn on my '07 Royal Star Venture, and this works great. It was easy to install, and much louder. I haven't had any issue with needing a relay either, unlike using an air horn which creates a large draw. I'll be keeping these in mind for other bikes in my garage.

I bought this so it would be louder than the stock horn on my v star 1300. BUT this one sounds exactly the same as the stock. My decibel meter app said both were 103 decibels. For me, it was a waste of my money and time. It was easy to install however.

The first one I put on my bike worked 3 times, then died. Fortunately I discovered the problem in the garage while testing it before taking my bike in for inspection.The second one I put on my bike worked about 5 or 6 times then died. Unfortunately, I NEEDED my horn while on the road to alert a confused, inattentive driver. Not the best time to find out.Don't waste your money on this cheap piece of junk.

October 2, 2015 Replacement horn received.Am completely satisfied with the replacement horn Amazon sent arriving exactly one week later. Horn is loud as claimed and compactfor flexible mounting. Good instructions were included to support use with vehicles using either one or two wires to original OEM horn. Would buy this again.Would have rated 5 stars except for the experience of having received a defective unit initially.====================================================================================================================================================================Sept 25, 2015Defective as new, would not make a sound when directly connected to charged 12v battery. Checked continuity across terminals and between either terminal and horn body (not a painted part). Found completely open circuit.Kudos for Amazon seamless return process, so far not so much for the product. Have requested a replacement product. To be continued when replacement arrives.

Those who say its not very loud don't realize there is a screw limiter on the horn diaphragm. Unscrew it and throw it away, it gets about double loud without the screw suppressor. I was looking for a horn for my recumbent trike because our trikes are low to the ground and those silly flags are virtually invisible viewed directly from behind. I found a company that makes car horn for bicycles, but it was like over $100, no thanks. I bought this little horn 6 years ago, bought a small laptop battery to power it, got a push button for it and installed it on my recumbent. The very first time I went riding with my new horn, I was turning into our residential area from a main drag and guy in a big SUV was hitting the gas and about to run me over from the side. I hit that horn and he skidded to a halt right in front of my instead of killing me. So, this little horn has good uses for it. There are also ones that have two horns, high and low, you could get and be even heard better. I've never actually had to recharge the battery in all this time either, and the horn has been faultless.

I wanted a horn on my motorized bicycle and this fit the bill perfectly. It's very loud, seems very reliable, has good supplied mounting hardware, and best of all is one of the cheapest on the market. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to buy another for any car or motorcycle.

Works well for me. Installed easily in my application (on a quad). Comes with a ground jumper and terminals for crimping/soldering. It doesn't have a gigantic current draw, so it can be wired directly to most horn buttons without using a relay. Sounds pretty much like a horn on a scooter or smaller motorcycle.This horn is not internally grounded so you can wire it to either sound with the horn button supplying B+, or by grounding it. There are two spade terminals and the mating open barrel crimp connectors are supplied. A already assembled grounding jumper is also supplied. Great value.

Smaller than expected but that’s my own fault. Loud for its size and sounds like a basic beep, suits my old Volkswagen truck well. Was plug and go (two minute installition).

Works fine but the installation bracket seems weak! Will see in time!
