Great for filtering honey
This is a 400 micron filterI cut it into several 10" round pieces and sandwich it between two 5 gal filters that are worn. Then I filter honey into 5 gallon buckets. It's much heavier than the 5 gallon filters I get from Mann Lake.

Not what's advertised!
The product I got is no longer like the product in the description. It does not fit into the strainer holders (2 round discs that fit in themselves and sit on top of funnel) and the holes definitely seem waaay to big. Bummer I opened it too late

Replaces Cheesecloth and A Lot Tougher Too
I bought this to strain herbal tinctures. Works perfectly. The mesh is extremely fine. The fabric is actually a fairly stiff, nylon-ish or plastic-like material. A great replacement for cheesecloth. I also use a big piece of it to capture algae while cleaning a recirculating water feature. It stops all the physical particulates of any visible texture. I'm left with just colored water passing through it.

Not the size marketed.
It is not 400micron size. The holes are way too big.

Just wasn't the right size micron I needed.. Details in review.
I couldn't get a clear answer when I researched which number of mesh was considered the finest microns and what the difference between 200 mesh and 200 micron if the number goes up or down depending on how big or small all the individual holes are... Some stores said the higher the number the smaller the individual holes mesh got more fine, the bigger the individual holes the mesh was less fine and the smaller the number. When in reality the smaller the number the mesh is most fine and the larger the number the mesh is less fine with bigger holes. I just learned that the hard way$$$! The real chart says that 400 mesh is 37 microns and that's fine and the "400" mesh that came was more like 400 micron... Way too big
