Furniture Piece Set of Two Victor Woven Abaca Dining Chair

One of the chairs arrived with two damaged legs - usable but not brand new looking. Since returning a chair was problematic, the company refunded me enough to cover the cost of repair. Great customer service. And the chairs are exactly the vibe I was going for.

I purchased four of these chairs and received them sooner then expected. One of the wood legs was damaged and arrived with a rather noticible gash in it apparently from the shipping. I decided to keep it and repair the leg instead of going through the hassle of returning it. The others were in perfect condition. They are built very sturdy and the abaca is woven nice and tight. The legs are darker than what the picture depicts but they blend nicely with my round antique table. The natural fiber of the chairs are sprayed with a gloss finish. I would have preferred a matte or more natural finish. Overall I am very satisfied with the quality and price and they do look beautiful in my dining area. I would have given them five stars if the one chair didn't arrived damaged.

Good deal for the price. They are amazing quality. The only thing I didn’t like was they are rock hard to sit on and they are a little small in comparison to my other chairs. The height seems a bit short and they seem tiny when my husband sat in it. But otherwise it’s a very beautiful chair

Nice chairs, they look how you’d expect from picture, but I would recommend these chairs for look and not daily use. Because of the nature of the wood weaving, there are a few snags and breaks. If these are heavily used I can see those snags and wood breaks becoming bothersome.

I would not recommend these chairs. I purchased two sets of chairs. In the first box, one chair had a broken leg. In the second box, the front of the chair appears to have scrubbed up against something. On my first attempt to return, I was offered a repair kit. I have asked for a return label for a refund. I am still waiting.

I purchased a set of these before Thanksgiving to add seating to my table, I wanted these for each end. These chairs are HEAVY! They arrived packaged nicely, there was a lot of protection! The hardest part was lifting and carrying them from my garage to my dining room b/c they are so sturdy! They are not "uncomfortable" but they are very stiff. They are beautiful chairs and add a great touch to the farmhouse table that my husband hand-made for me. People are surprised when they comment on them and ask where I got them and I respond "Amazon" (where I have gotten 90% of the things in my house!) I would definitely recommend these chairs and in fact, I have!

I read all of the reviews and was worried that a few of them mentioned receiving a damaged product as the biggest issue. So, I took a chance and my chairs came to me in perfect condition. The color, strength of the weave, sturdiness/firmness of the seat and legs, size, height -- all perfect. I'm using them as accent chairs at my dining room table. I mistakenly ordered a set too many and must return two chairs ... since I just can't justify having the extra ... but if my house were a tad bigger, I'd throw all rationale to the wind and keep the extra.

It would appear that the chairs were packed while the varnish on the legs was not dry. All of the packing material was stuck to the wooden legs on all 4 chairs ordered!! Aside from this, the chair bodies were nicely protected in the shipping. The quality of the chairs is quite good - they are much sturdier than the ones they replaced. If I didn't have to spend hours removing the paper from the legs, I would have rated this purchase a 5!
