Little Beaver and the Echo

Love this story, it's adorable. The book came in great condition.

Every day my seven year old son has to bring home two books from school to read to us. Up until now one of those books was, without fail, Little Beaver and the Echo, a book about a young beaver who has no friends. It's a fantastic book, being well written, and beautifully illustrated. It didn't dawn on us until the second time through that our son liked this book so well because he identified with Little Beaver and the fact that he has no friends. The neighborhood that we live in is filled with older kids and none of them wants to take the time to play with "a little kid." I hope, as I'm sure my son does, that one day he will find new friends, just like Little Beaver and The Echo.

I bought this book for my daughter, who loves to read. I had this book as a child also and it is just as cute as I remembered. The pictures capture her imagination and she loves to point out the characters on each page as we read it. The story is uncomplicated, but still interesting, and easy for her to follow even at age 2. Great book to have in your child's library.

A happy story sporting kindness and understanding. I am thankful I made the decision to get this great book to go with the stuffed Beaver. This could not have been a better combination !

Love the story. Read it to my kids almost every night when they were young. One of my favorites. You won't be disappointed.

This has been my 5-yr old grandson's favorite book for close to two years. We first got it from the library and he loved it so much I ended up buying it. We have read it so many times - he never gets tired of it. He even "acts out" the story. He's very sensitive and the first time I read it to him he immediately got very sad about the Little Beaver being lonely and crying. I assured him it would have a happy ending. And it certainly does. Beautiful book.

This is an absolutely adorable book! From the beautiful illustrations to the charming story of friendship. This is definitely a favorite read for my preschool class!

The loveliest story for a young child. Beautiful reassuring story, with delightful pictures , that are beautifully coloured too. Have bought several copies, just to give away for babies’ christening presents etc, as it’s well worth keeping for when the child is older.Nice size too!
