HofnerContemporary Round Wound 40-95 Bass Strings

So I wanted to try something different than the flat wounds on my Hofner Club bass and for the money, these are hard to beat, they are stronger than the labella hofner flatwounds, good fit. I still get the woody hollow bass sound with a bit less thud and a bit more zing than the flats and yes some string noise since they're rounds. Strings are a personal thing but over all I'm happy with them.

I have been playing Bass since 1963 and I love these Hofner strings. They have a self-locking winding end that makes changing the strings much easier than the traditional round wound string. Tuning is effortless as there is no slippage as the strings are tightened. Great sound as well.

I have been playing Hofners for years and this is the first time that I tried official Hofner strings. Love Them! Will only use these from now on. Highly recommend that you give them a try and see if you like them as much as I do! Signed.....Big Hofner Bass Fan!
