Penny Black40-372 Divine Slapstick Cling Stamp

The great thing about these stamps is how large they are- this stamp is 6.6" tall (that's larger a 6x6 paper pad!) and 3.3 inches wide. It's made from red rubber with a gray cling sponge backer, so it sticks to all acrylic blocks. It stamps beautiful- crisp and clean image. Because the line width of the image is not super thick, it's perfect for no-line coloring (if using a lighter ink) or even going over completely with watercolors or other art mediums.There are a whole series of stamps just like this in the Penny Black line - Divine, Demure, Poppy, Delightful, Wonderous, Charming, Softly, etc. and they all work together to make beautiful, large floral compositions suitable for larger cards and larger size art pieces.If you are looking for larger-scale stamps, these are perfect.

I love Penny Black floral stamps like this one. This one in particular is great for water coloring in making greeting cards. Actually, it would even be frame-able with matting to make it a little larger. The openness of the stamp is nice rather than having a lot of extra lines within the petals. Again, this could be stamped in a pale water proof ink and then when water colored or other medium used, it would look like it was not even a stamp originally. I hope Penny Black makes more open florals like this one.
