Works great!
I recently purchased the POOL BLASTER Centennial Cordless Pool Vacuum with Pole Set, and it has completely transformed my pool maintenance routine. This handheld, rechargeable pool cleaner has exceeded all my expectations, combining powerful suction with exceptional convenience to tackle everything from sand and silt to leaves in both inground and above-ground pools. One of the standout features of this vacuum is its XL debris capacity. The large chamber means I can clean for longer periods without needing to stop and empty it out, saving me a significant amount of time and effort. Additionally, the advanced filtration system is nothing short of impressive, capturing even the finest particles, leaving my pool water crystal clear and inviting. The cordless design of the POOL BLASTER Centennial is a game-changer. Freed from the constraints of cords and hoses, I can maneuver around the pool with ease, reaching every nook and cranny without any hassle. The included pole set is a fantastic addition, providing extra reach and making the vacuum versatile for different pool sizes and depths. The vacuum's rechargeable feature is another huge plus. It's incredibly convenient to not have to worry about replacing batteries or finding a power source nearby. The vacuum holds a charge well, providing ample cleaning time to cover my entire pool on a single charge. Overall, the POOL BLASTER Centennial Cordless Pool Vacuum with Pole Set is a stellar product that has made pool cleaning less of a chore and more of a breeze. Its powerful cleaning capabilities, combined with its user-friendly design, make it an essential tool for any pool owner. Whether you're dealing with fine silt or stubborn leaves, this vacuum handles it all with ease, making it a worthy investment for a pristine pool.

A winner!
I'm a relative newbie as a pool owner. Honestly, it is a REAL challenge vacuuming the stuff off the bottom of the pool with the hose-style unit-- not only is it a pain to get started, it never really works that well. Enter the Pool Blaster. Admittedly this is my first use, but if the results are any indication this product is a winner. Whereas it used to take me 40 minutes to slowly and painstakingly clean the pool with the suction hose device (it never got that clean), with the Pool Blaster I was able to give the pool a thorough going-over in less than 20 minutes. Wow! ============================================================================== 7/26/2021 update. Still loving it! And boy is the bottom free of debris, like never before. I was even able to pick up the algae that had collected along one edge. Easy-peasy! I'll check back with an update if things change, but for now I'm sold. Never going back to the bad-old-way. ============================================================================== 8/11/21 Update -- still like it, one small weakness I'm finding that this product has difficulty with leaves bigger than a couple inches in size. Sometimes (not always) they are not grabbed by the vacuum no matter how I maneuver it. I've also had an instance where larger leaves clogged the input port. Really no big deal on either count, I'm still a happy camper.

Great for small above ground pools
We have no regrets after buying this pool vac. Its got incredible suction power. This model does a great job at filtering out even small particles in the water. The filter is easy to replace. It's built pretty sturdy. Came with all the accessories we needed. Battery life is pretty good - haven't had an, "Aw man, I have to charge this again?" moment. We previously had tried a vacuum attached to our pool pump but it just didn't create the kind of water flow to pick up anything. This self-contained vac has a lot more (sea)horse power. Even sucking out the algae from the folds of our vinyl pool. The only kind-of bummers are: It tends to want to float so you have to keep pushing it down and sometimes the water will spill out when we pull it out of the pool - which means some of the gunk it had vacuumed goes back into the pool. The solve for the spilling was to pull it out and away from the pool quickly and dumping the water nearby. Would def buy again!

Battery lasted 3 months
I really was excited about this product and while the battery charged it worked well. I bought it June 2025 and used it 3 months for part of 1 pool season. I really liked it for my pool steps and shallow end. Had a pool renovation done this summer and when I went to use it, does not work. Charged battery several times. You should not pay this kind of money and have a product fail after 3 months. Tried to ask a product question on amazon but it takes me to all orders and not this one. On a final note, I bought this after a neighbor used it for his pool last year. His also failed to run after one season. I am going to try and reach out to seller directly? Good luck!

A product that actually works as good or better than advertised!
The POOL BLASTER Centennial model is excellent as a substitute for the traditional or more modern robotic pool vacuums. It is powerful enough to suck up sand and small gravel grains from the bottom of our pool-from both the 6 foot deep end as well as from the sitting area. A major wind storm that struck Las Vegas a few days ago blew up to an inch (in some areas) of fine and course sand and even some larger gravel pieces into our 16,000 gal inground pool. The pool was a disaster, to say the least . I decided to use the POOL BLASTER Water Tech Catfish Rechargeable, Battery-Powered, Swimming Pool Cleaner that we already own on this mess but it could not even begin to do the trick. So I ordered this centennial model and am very glad I did. I filled the debris cannister to the top 8 times and recharged the vacuum 6 times to completely clear all of the sand and gravel debris from the bottom of our pool! The vacuum battery when fully charged worked for approximately 40 minutes each time. Cleaning between use and charging the device was a breeze and took no more than 5 minutes each time. In this day of mediocrity (at best) in product performance, this vacuum stands out because it works exceptionally well and I highly recommend this vacuum to anyone who has a high maintenance inground pool.

This pool vac sucks!
I purposely waited to do a review until after I used this a couple of times. Assembly was a snap. I charged it for over 4 hours, so it was fully charged. First use, I was totally impressed with how much it picked up. The built-in sock filter trapped all the small stuff. Cleaning was easy, open, dump, rinse, and done. I leave mine on the deck to dry out before reassembly, which is a flip of the lever. What impressed me the most is the fact I got three and a half complete uses before having to recharge it. One more thing, it's extremely quiet. So when I say it sucks, yes it does! Highly recommend!

Pretty good, but has some flaws. Purchase with reasonable expectations
I'll start off by stating we have a robotic pool vac as our primary cleaner, so this was purchased to clean the attached spa, steps and corners the robo vac does not consistently reach. I've used this vac multiple times a week for almost three months and it has generally met my expectations. It is fairly easy to use and the battery lasts quite a while before a re-charge is needed. The suction is good and it pretty much picks up everything we need it to, even some large leaves. But there are a few small flaws. First, and most annoying, is that the canister does not always stay securely seated against the base. I find that when using the unit, if it contacts the side or step of the pool or if too much pressure is used when pushing it, the canister portion slips out from the small lip that holds it in place against the base. The problem this creates is the water in the canister, along with all the small debris, just flows right back out into the pool, negating a lot of the work just completed. It's most noticeable upon retrieval of the unit. So either you'll need to wait for the debris to settle back down and vacuum it again, or leave it for the next time. I've gotten into the habit of checking to make sure the canister and base are good before pulling it out and trying to force it back into place. But even so, some debris and water still flows out. I would say out of the ~20 times I've used it so far, I've NOT had this issue in about 5 of those. Some other reviews note a similar issue. Seems like Pool Blaster needs to re-engineer the unit with a larger lip in the base to keep the canister in place. . The second issue is the unit is too buoyant. I need to keep steady pressure on it to ensure the scrubber stays down. Couple that with the canister issue above and it is clear why that happens so often. The third issue is that some debris is easily stirred up by the shape of the vac head and forced away from it. So sometimes I need to move slowly or approach it at an odd angle. Using nets and the robo vac, I've never seen this before and I have no explanation for it. It's just annoying when some random leaf will blow away from the vac when the head is just about to go over it and suck it up. But in general it has no problem collecting most debris. From my experience, I cannot imagine using this as a primary unit to clean an entire pool unless it was quite small and circular. But as a supplementary cleaner, it works fairly well, but not perfect. If the canister seal issue were fixed it would be a solid 4 and if they addressed the buoyancy issue it would be a 5 star item.
