My 91 year old mother is 4 feet 9 inches and very thin. She needed pants that will fit her new height and weight and though I was going to exchange them for a size 4, my mother said that the size 6 petite I bought for her were perfect. They look too wide for my taste but since she is 91 years old, she is not at the firm fitting stage if life. She weighs 102 pounds and says that she would have had to cut the waist if I exchanged them for a smaller size. She likes how they feel and will wear them for her next doctors appointment.

At the time I bought these I was 5’2 140 lbs and I bought a size 10. They were huge. These pants do not run true to size. Nice quality material and they look like they would be a nice pair of slacks if they fit me.

I ordered these Briggs pants because I am familiar with their product and long history of quality. The navy pants came in the other day and fit perfectly. There are slash pockets on each side of the navy pants and the pockets were open. Today I received the brown pair, and the pockets were sewn tightly shut. Usually in some pants there is a loose stitch to keep the pockets from opening in shipment. These stitches were hard to remove, and had to be done carefully. This is the only quality control reason for 4 out of 5 stars.

So nice to be able to wear decent looking work pants in different colors straight out of the box. Would buy again. However every single pair had a hole in one or both pockets. Easy fix but still annoying. Also fabric pills quickly. Already shaving them after only a few wears.

Happy with quality of the pants, the only problem is I ordered the petite short and will still have to shorten them as I’m only 4’7” tall. I did expect to have to shorten them.

So difficult to find petite-short, ankle-length pants that fit well when you're an older 5'2." These pants were perfect...they fit well, hang properly, look & feel great and appear to be good quality. Ordering at least one more pair.

I am a very short person and I like the fact that they come in petite short.
