Excellent for the price, with some good features
I really like this keyboard, which is the first 60% board I have used. I don't have time for an in-depth plunge into all the whys and wherefores of why I like it, but top of the list is the ability to connect to up to five devices via Bluetooth (which I have had no problem doing - seems to have been an issue for some people). Yes, the software you get is a bit ropey, but at this price point, I don't think you can expect something akin to Razer's offering. I love the fact that if you hit the Caps Lock key, it lights up in a special, static white fashion, so you know it is activated (ditto if you use the Fn+WIN to lock the Windows key). All the functions you would sensibly want are available via the keyboard. I like the fact that it remembers your last lighting set up after you switch it off, and goes back to that when you turn it on again, so you don't have to waste time cycling through the options all over again. The actual RGB is very interesting - you can have it bright and festive, or dark and subtle. Most importantly, if you want to use it in an office, you can turn it off completely. And the lighting turns off if you haven't used the board after a minute in any event, to save power. The one downside I have discovered, is that, as some others have mentioned, the battery does not last long if you have the RGB on when working wirelessly. It seems to only last a couple of workdays (about 8-16 hours). I haven't paid too much attention to exactly how long, as my use when working is fairly intermittent - I'm not typing paragraphs, just minor amendments and a lot of Ctrl+C+V. So the actual longevity varies a lot for me. I don't find this to be a big problem, as I was intending to use it mostly wired up, anyway. The Fn button flashes to let you know that it needs feeding. The sound of the board is relatively quiet. The keys with stabilizers are not loud and clangy, but are a close match to the other keys (the spacebar is perhaps a little clunky). Weirdly, my "0" (zero) key has a metallic ringing sound to it. I'm not sure why this is. The "F" key also has a similar sound, but not as pronounced. My best guess is that the metal base either has a fixing, or lacks one, at those points, but I'm no expert on the construction of these things.Overall, I've been very pleased with this board as my introduction to mechanical wireless 60% boards.

Ideal Gaming Keyboard
CONS:The keys are very sensitive. You may find yourself accidentally typing another key - user fairnessChanging the RGB lighting system isn't straight forward - using the manual guide book helps.Using the F10 + keys is fiddly.PROS:Has many RGB settings - I personally prefer the pastel light setting that keys also change colour when you touch them. You can change the RGB on the side of the keyboard separately to the keys! The weight is perfect - not so easy to knock or budge when gaming. Its small enough to not take up too much room on your desk. The price is spot on for what you get.The battery life for wireless is OK although I have mine plugged in.The keys are soft & sensitive- you don't have to fully press down the keys to activate them but the sounds when you do are satisfying 😉The rollover style on keys each row is raised a little higher every row upwards, helps be more accurate when not looking & typing.Easy to set up, easy to use. Great price.

Answers to the questions I had before I got it - yes i love it
The media could not be loaded. I got this as my first mechanical keyboard. I absolutely love it. I got the UK version with red switches because I love the sound. I'm not really much of a gamer but i do a lot of typing and wanted a nicer keyboard.Re switches - why I picked the red.I like the sound. that's pretty much it. I went on youtube and listened to a bunch of videos recording the different switches and love the sounds of the red.Re switches: do i mistype a lot?Yes. It is a bit of a change from my flat low profile macbook air keyboard to this chunky keys and the lack of tactile feedback from the reds does make me seem like im ghosting on my keys. but there were all expected. It is getting a lot better already on my 2nd day of use.Re switches: do i regret getting the reds as a typist and casual gamer?A little. Think browns would have been a better fit for my uses. But I do love the sound and feel of reds and ultimately do not regret getting reds.Re the package - what came in the boxThe keyboard (already assembled) with a keycap puller. I pulled one out to check I got the red switches as I wanted. An instruction booklet - which was actually really clear (more on set up later). A usb-c wire, estimated around 1.5m.Re setting upThe keyboard has both wired and wireless setting. Both worked flawless with my macbook and pc.Wire = plug in and instantly both my pc and mac recognised it and the keyboard worked instantly.Wireless = bluebooth. Pairing was super easy and straightforward. The instruction booklet came in multiple languages and were really clear with diagrams. All you have to do is hold down fn + p and then the keyboard goes into pairing mode.Re: bluetoothSuper easy to pair and set up. There are a total of 5 bluetooth profile that you can pair this keybaord to. I have it currently paired with my mac and my iphone (cos why not). No problem. Easy to switch to between profiles and instantly recognised by the devices. I have both on my desk and have both bluetooth on. Easy to switch between devices with the fn + Q/W/E/R/T setting. (see photo)Re: switching between wired and wireless mode. There is an on/off button on the back (see photo). Off = off bluetooth. On=on bluetooth.Re:chargingIt charges whenever it is plugged it. No removable battery. There is an indicator re amount of battery. Don't think there is one on the keyboard, would be nice if the side light can also be a battery indicator (idea)Re: RBG lighting.See the video where I cycled through all the options. They are beautiful. Wasn't a huge RBG backlighting fan before this but definitely am one now. Also within each pattern which you cycle via fn + home, you have colour option settings. Aka if you want the wave. the default comes with wave and rainbow but if you wave and pink you can switch the colour profile with fn+end.and yes there is the ripple effect that I adore. - you press one key and the keyboard ripples with light from that 1 button.Re: footsiesit comes with 2 magnetic footsies for the keyboard. I prefer it without but the magnets work and they do lift up the keyboard to increase the incline. The detachment feet means they are easily lost. Im on day 2 and have already misplaced them somewhere in the house.Re mac and windowsYES. This has compatibility with both. Why isn't this a standard for all keyboards?!?!?Anyway super easy to switch between the two setting. Fn + A for windows and Fn+S for mac (see photo). It's also on the keyboard so you don't have to remember all these.I have tested this on both mac and pc and works well.I brought this to work and even got it to work fussfree with my work desktopRe portabilityIt is hefty but defo portable. It doesn't come with a case though...So if all praises why the 4 stars??It is a super minor point but it matters a lot to me because I bought the keyboard for the sound (yeah flame me). There is an occasional metallic clink that comes when you type on the keyboard. It is not always reproducible and even if i tried i probably wont be able to record the sound properly. It just disrupts the experience of typing on it due to that metallic clink. It sounds like when the switch is released after being pressed, sometimes the springs get caught and suddenly is released resulting in a rebound clink. It just makes the keyboard sound cheap (which is all fairness in the whole of mech keyboards this is considered cheap) but in the world of electronics and keyboard in general, it is not.Stay tuned. I will update this after 1 month and then 1 year of use :PCiaoEdit 2 years in - still loving it and using this :) All still working
