Martex Premium 100% Cotton Warm and Cozy Blanket Good for All Seasons, Lightweight and Breathable, Textured, Twin, Green

I searched traditional retail stores for a cotton blanket with no luck.I despise how sheets,blankets quilts are made from microfiber. I prefer a natural material especially my bedding. This blanket is perfect for So Cal weather. It’s lightweight and because it is cotton is wicks away moisture rather than trapping the way microfiber does.

I have used a similar blanket for years. Living in Southern California a light blanket is required. My old one was getting pretty shaggy looking and it was time for a replacement. I did not want to go out because of Covid, but was concerned about buying without touching. This one seems a little heavier and stiffer than I have gotten before, but the price is right, the color is what I wanted, and I know it will get softer as it is used and repeated laundering. All said and done, I’m happy with my purchase.

I like these type of woven cotton blankets, but sometimes they can be difficult to find.I have a few, similar to this blanket, but they are lightweight, or heavyweight. I have some blankets that are, "middleweight", but they are swin size, and good for the sofa and such. I wanted, a Queen size blanket, not heavy, but not too light in weight, and this blanket is just about that. I've used it alone, or layered with another blanket when it's colder.Before purchasing this blanket , I tried one made from polyester, that looked like it would fill that gap I had, between lightweight, and heavy blanket. A, "Middle-weight" blanket. However, that polyester blanket shed small polyester fibers everywhere, so I had to return it.This blanket, does have something to keep an eye on, though. This blanket will shed LOTS of lint, the first few times you wash and dry it. Be sure to clean the lint trap, part way into it's cycle. As you wash and dry this blanket, there will be less and less lint, however, be prepared the first few times. I was surprised at the amount of lint, in the dryer's lint trap, the first time I put it through. It was a thought of, "Wow, I've never seen the lint trap that full...". Though, after being removed from the dryer, and put to use, the blanket doesn't seem to shed lint around the house, on beds, etc.This blanket has some drawbacks, but I like the blanket's color, weight, and size. I'm happy with it.

Think of it as a light non-synthetic thermal blanket. Patient wanted yet another heavy blanket, but launderer wanted something lighter. This one made both happy. It is heavy enough to feel like a blanket, but light enough to launder with the heavier sheets. Soft to the touch and a not glaringly bright white. Martex is always a good choice.

If you like hospital blankets, this is the blanket for you! It's not exactly soft, but it gets the job done and keeps you warm. Because it's cotton it's a bit of a larger weave and can easily get snagged. On the second day of owning this blanket it snagged on something and almost ripped a hole through it. So beware of that! Colors are also limited, but for those of you who are artsy fartsy you can always dye it with RIT.

I love this blanket. I was looking at $200.00 summer blankets and said to myself why. After searching for hours I chose this very lightweight blanket. I live in Florida and thought this still would be too hot but it’s perfect. I’ve stopped sweating all night and don’t have to turn the air conditioning up just to sleep comfortably.It may not last for a bazillion years but for the price who cares.

I gave it a 2 star because the price was good, but a 1 star for appearance. As soon as I opened the package, it looked like the blanket had either already been used and possibly washed because there were little snags and pull defects all over it and strings hanging off the edges. I was very disappointed because I wanted to put it on a guest room bed for friends and I would have been embarrassed to use it, so I returned it!

Love them. We do not get too hot. Bought them for our RV but I think we will buy some for our house too.

I find it to provide the perfect warmth for my needs. The open weave makes it very comfortable without being heavy. I also like natural fibers, so I am very pleased with everything about this blanket.

Just wanted to clear up a few things I saw when I was looking at this blanket. First, it is a knit cotton blanket. That means if you have pets or jewellery you are going to get pulls. Also, it will not be as soft as fleece or micro. Although I find it very soft (for a knit blanket). I washed mine upon receiving it (delicate wash / gentle low dry) and there was a lot of lint but it held its shape beautifully. It is a light weight and edges are rolled and finished nicely. I should also note - this is the white blanket. All colours might not be the same.

Está muy linda, es tejida, ligera. Totalmente de algodón, se ve muy artesanal. Solo tiene un hilito jalado, pero no afecta en nada.

I enjoy the colour (green) and the feel of this blanket. I hope it lasts since I already see a pulled thread: I'll blame our dog for this, I wouldn't buy this product if cats are around.
